> 3 dayIts not easy to physically connect the M1 MacBook Pro to a M2 iPad Pro, many USB-c cables wont work, not even a charge. The cable that comes with the iPad pro is just a charging cable, so the data rate is very very slow. Synchronizing large files is simply painful. When using the Apple USB-c charging cable, the MacBook Pro will not recognize the previous sync, it will insist on re-sync the iPad from scratch, making each sync of a database of video files unnecessarily long. All that changed with the OWC TB4 cable, synchronization is now a breeze and the MacBook recognizes the previous syncs, it wont insist on a complete overwrite anymore. Thanks. The price of the cable is still too high even though its cheaper than Apples. I was throwing out all my old cables the other day, the SCSIs, the DVIs, Firewires, PCIe, USB2 etc., all that waste.

> 3 dayThis is the cable you should buy if you use any device with USB-C ports. No matter what protocol, Thunderbolt 4 or 3, or USB 4 or 3 (gen 1 or 2), this cable will work with it. No other kind of cable can do that. Cal-Digit makes one too and it’s equally good.

15-04-2025The cable has a tough solid and thick look and appears to be be of high quality just by looking, however picture quality seem to be way below 4k resolution!

> 3 dayWorks great with the TH3PAG3 eGPU. Bought a Framework laptop last year and decided I could put one of my old GTX 980 Tis that I no longer use to work with an eGPU. At first I was a tad skeptical that a Thunderbolt 4 cable this long would work reliably with a bidirectional high bandwidth device like an eGPU, but I cannot discern any penalty for the cable being longer than the really short one the eGPU came with. The cable has a firm connection in each port and is plenty flexible and long. No complaints other than being a bit pricy, but I think this is a case of you get what you pay for. Hopefully the durability holds up.

> 3 dayI use mine to connect my Logitech Brio Webcam to my monitor as the original cable was too long. You cant go wrong with Thunderbolt 4 cable as its future proof and OWC makes great products as I use their Thunderbolt 3 dock as well.

> 3 dayThis is the second OWC Thunderbolt cable I ordered from Amazon. I ordered the first one just a week ago. I bought them to connect two Sabrent NVME PCIe enclosures with Kingston 1TB & 2TB chips in them, to a new Mac Mini M2. The first one appeared identical to the illustration ie; the lightning with the number 4. This one does not match the illustration at all it has the lightning bolt but no number 4. This does not inspire my confidence in Amazon. I have no problems with the way it works nor do I do speed benchmarking. The enclosures I use do not support Thunderbolt 4 speeds and I wont spend the amount of money to get those extra speeds. Im retired and I have time. I just dont trust Amazon as much anymore. Be aware that you may not be getting what you order.
