Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E, 18.7 oz, 530 g, 1 Jar (681586)

This is a great formula. However, I noticed that the butter is less firm than my last one from this brand. When you open it, you dont get the true cocoa butter. Instead, you get a softer version of it. Its still pretty good but you have to use a little more which would make you run out quicker than you normally would for one this size. I would still recommend this though. Perfect for foot moisturization.

I have used Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula for years, both the lotion and this cream. This cream has always been able to keep my legs from getting too dry and ashy in the dry winter months. I use the lotion in the summer (humid) and a combination of the two (cream and lotion) in the other seasons. Sometimes it lotion on my torso and the cream on my legs. If you are averse to using mineral oil on your skin, this may not be for you. This brands cream is one of the rare products that I purchase that has it listed in the ingredients. My skin on my legs below my knees can get so dry, it cracks. Wearing this daily on those areas prevents that. I love the scent and how it quickly melts in your hands before applying. Some may think it is too oily but it does not stay oily very long. I would not use this if I wear wearing a silk shirt but thats where the lotion would be substituted. I apply right after a shower while my skin is still moist. During 2020 with all of the hand washing and applying of hand sanitizer, my hands became much dryer. I began applying this thru out the day and my hands no longer have that sand paper feel. I really like this product, the feel, scent and it works. I buy it to keep dry skin at bay and it does that very very well.

Smells like chocolate. Softens skin. Would be nice to have a tub- sized jar to ease into !

It’s a hit or miss whether or not I will receive a broken tub or not. Also the consistency and smell seems off a little and I’m not totally convinced that it’s all palmers cocoa butter that I’ve received. Plus bjs has the same size tub cheaper, better quality and trustworthy. Bjs Shipped it overly protected and you can guess where I’ll be getting these from now on.

This was recommended for my husband for a surgical scar by a licensed physical therapist as a skin conditioner. It apparently reduces long-term and unsightly scar tissue. My husband has used it since his surgery 2 years ago, and now the scar is almost invisible. I have also used it for many years on my face and neck as a skin conditioner before bedtime each night. I will soon be 80 years old and I have no wrinkles on my face. I highly recommend Palmers Cocoa Butter. It is very affordable and gives amazing results.
