> 24 hourHas anyone else broke a plastic tire lever? Once one snaps in your hand, you become gun shy. I bought these Park Tool TL-4.2 tire levers because, well, they look and feel robust. So far, they are working (700x23C and 27x1.25 tires).

> 24 hourI bought these as pack tools for my hybrid bike because when I came to change the Kenda tyres, that were on the bike when new, for Continentals I found the old nylon tools that I used to have no problem with were not at all up to the job of getting the piggingly tight, the worst I have ever encountered, tyre beads off the rim. With these it was still quite hard but achievable. So big thumbs up from me, especially with how good value they are.

> 24 hourThe Park Tool lever set of 2 works great, but you sometimes need a least a third to get the job done. Otherwise the size of this model is just right and it works well.

> 24 hourCheap but working product. I enjoy they click together so they dont lose track of one another. For a couple bucks, perfect.

> 24 hourNice thick levers that work well on my MTB tires. I have used them a few times to dismount and mount tires all ready. No problems, very little flex, wide surface. Could one snap them, no doubt. Good technique goes a long with tire levers. If you feel like your going to break it, you probably are. If you feel like you are prying too hard you probably are. Back off, re-evaluate, adjust, move along.
