Park Tool FR-5.2GT Cassette Lockring with Tool 12mm Pin

Is it really necessary? I did use the one with the QR pin, and liked it, but also use the one without the pin and dont have much of a problem using it. But whatever. I did buy the one with the QR pin, so it looks like Ill be ordering this one too. *shrug* But have you seen their pizza cutter?

This is a solid tool. Well priced and well built. The good quality of Park Tools it’s noticeable in this part.

Works great, no need to try to keep in in place w the axle when loosening.

I bought this cassette lock ring tool since my older tool didnt have clearance for the axle on the newer thru-axle hubs. The FR-5.2GT has plenty of clearance and fully engaged the cassette lock ring. The center pin didnt seem necessary to line up the tool, but didnt cause any problems either.

Does as its supposed to and the color is very nice.

Quality seems good it worked perfect for my sram xd cassette

Simple. This works great as it keeps the tool square with the hub and keeps full engagement of the teeth.

How did I ever get by without one of these?
