We full-time RV with a 40 motorhome, and we have an electric Tesla. This Y-connector allows us to use a single 50-amp service and keep the coach connected to power while the car is able to charge. Note, you need to balance the total amps being pulled manually between the coach and car or the breaker may trip, but the Y-connecter is a great way to keep from plugging and un-plugging all the time!

Helps me make use of my nema1450 outlet more efficiently. I keep my Tesla wall charger plugged then can use the other outlet for my MiG, tig welder or plasma cutter. Be sure not to overload your circuit! I do not charge my car when using my tools.

Well built, clearly a heavy duty splitter. Used to connect a large RV and BMW i3 250 VAC 16A charger to a single 50A socket. Works perfectly.

Steel (not copper) connectors. I guess they will eventually rust. I had to pound my copper RV plug into the adaptor. My RV male blades were partially exposed when fully plugged in.
