Works great for brightening rent enough to read, or look for lost items. Worked w different type head lamps too

The only reason I bought this was Petzl does not list any other headlamp cases for that new lamp. I also own the PETZL ACTIK Headlamp Case. The PETZL REACTIK+ fit in that case too. I actually switched the two. The PETZL REACTIK+ now lives in the ACTIK case, plus three AAA batteries. The PETZL ACTIK lives in this case now. The ACTIK lamps on / off button fits in the window for this NOCTILIGHT case perfectly. Better than the REACTIK+ headlamp actually. Sizes line up perfectly. Im not a real fan of this case as it feels flimsier than the ACTIK case, but it probably will help prevent damage when dropped or in my backpack. I use Black Diamond Apollo for my hammock and tent, so I doubt Ill ever use this case for a hanging light, but Ive decided to keep it. If I didnt have the two lamps and cases, Id return this and get the ACTIK case instead. Hope that helps.

Not as bright as I thought it would be but good product. Also light weight but not ultra light. It will be nice to have

I like it, it is an organized container for the headlamp with the ability to hang and use as lantern. It has a zip to insert or remove and turn on or off the light. Its a great container

I bought this for use in my tent in order to turn my headlamp into a lantern. What I did not expect was that, when my headlamp was packed in this housing, it could not be accidentally turned on by in my pack.

Great design and concept. Provides storage for your headlamp and provides a handy tent light. When you use your headlamp as a tent light, sometimes its hard to prevent getting the direct beam of light from hitting your eyes. This little thing disperses the light and brightens the space uniformly. Highly recommend.

Light weight but made of heavy material, seems durable. Really handy to have around in case of power outage or for camping.

Love it. It makes my Petzel headlamp into a teeny tiny lantern. It has an elastic strap that you can put around a tent pole or whatever.

Im not a camper and dont need a light weight in-tent lantern, but I bought this case and love it. This light is my go-to flashlight; I use it almost daily. Its handy for just about everything and is bright enough that you dont have to squint. The carrying case keeps the headlight strap well-contained, making it easier to store. For me, the fringe benefit is that, when the power goes out (which it does at least a couple of times a year where I live), I have a ready-at-hand lantern. Well made, easy to use, I highly recommend hit PETZL NOCTILIGHT.
