PGN UCP205-16 Pillow Block Bearing - Pack of 2 Mounted Pillow Block Bearings - Chrome Steel Bearings with 1 Bore - Self Alignment

These bearings are pressed totally inaccurately. Both of the units I ordered were off by at least 2 degrees. makes them useless.

I have three evaporative coolers we run in our auto repair shop 20 hours a day for five months of the year. We usually wear out bearing annually. These bearing use grease zerks instead of the oil and felt most other use. The design is way more automotive and looks like it will last years instead of months. Even the motor spins faster with them because they have less drag. All coolers should have these style of bearings

These bearings are a good value. They fit well. My problem is they will not withstand impact. The bases are cast material and brittle. I had suspected that would be the case, but was willing to try them. Four rifle shots into the morning and the target would no longer spin.

The ISO 9001-2008 died a few years ago. If you didn’t receive the 2015 rating, then you failed ISO requirements and can no longer say you are ISO certified. Who writes these things for these products?

Exact fit on a 26 year old machine. Allen locks to hold the shaft from walking. Grease fitting to keep it all lubricated. Great product.

Used as part of my attic lift. MUCH heaver than I needed but couldnt beat the price. I will never approach even 25% of their capacity. I like pillow bearings as they are self aligning [dont have to have each bearing EXACTLY on the same axis] ONLY con, they were about .0015 UNDER size, had to lap the shaft a bit to get it to fit. Would recommend for anyone building a lift requiring bearing supports.
