We have a bio filtered koi pond. It gets quite a bit of direct sunlight, causing algae blooms in the afternoon. We had not replaced the UV light for about a year. Decided that it was time, and found this one for a great price. The bulb is doing its job, the pond is much clearer than it has been for some time. We can even see the new baby koi! They are small. They shipped it really quickly too. If you are on the fence on this item. Order it!

I purchased this as a replacement germicidal bulb for our air purification unit. The first bulb was difficult to insert in the holder (I managed to break the bulb; my error). I ordered a second bulb and with greater care accomplished the installation. Both bulbs were received within two business days (in good condition) and was the best price I found.

The UV bulb in our Aerus Beyond air cleaner blew out after two years of continuous use. Opened up the unit to access the bulb. Read the numbers on the bulb and found it on Amazon for $8.99 plus free shipping with Prime. Bulb lists for $42.98 at Aerus. Easy fix, huge savings!

The bulb works well. Postage to Australia was a bit expensive but arrived quick.

Bulb burned out quickly

Cheaper than the filter brand and works just as well. A good buy! Could have been packed better but made the journey fine.
