The balls are hard plastic, but the gun does not shoot them out very hard just enough to make it fun, along with the lights and sounds. Great pop gun for my 2yr old!

Easy enough for my 3 year old grandson to shoot it. He enjoys this toy.

very nice quality handheld blaster. fun lights & sound with a pull of the trigger. the balls launch about 5 feet. good fun & excited giggles from my 3 year old.

My kids (4 and 2.5 yrs) were frustrated by nerf guns. They were way to hard to use. These are way easier and have awesome sound effects. Love them!!
