PK80009 Disposable Vacuum Bags XL Standard Filtration 9/Pack (FITS ORECK XL MODELS Without Bag DOCKS, INCLUDING 2000, 8000, 9000, and Commercial Series)

I’ve always loved Oreck vacuums and have bought 2 in the last 25yrs. And never had any trouble with them. I bought this one ( more expensive) in March 2020. What a disappointment. After each use I have to clean the roller for any hair or thread. If I don’t the next time I use it there’s a burning smell. I vacuum once a week. We’re not a dirty household and we don’t have much traffic. We have a miniature poodle, a short haired cat and 2adults. Thank goodness I have my old Oreck for my backup. I waited too long to return the new one. Don’t buy this.

The bag spills inside the vacuum because the tab holding it in place brakes sat the bag is about 1/4 filled

Finally a quality, affordable vacuum bag. My Oreck XL vacuum was gasping for a replacement bag and here it is!

I don’t know if these bags are any good, they seem like the standard bag. I thought I was being careful with the type and model of the bag when I ordered. Unfortunately Oreck has XL models with a slight difference in that little piece of cardboard that holds the bag in place so this was a waste of money for me. My fault, I’ll have to be more careful ordering. I’ve ordered bags here before no problem. But these are so similar and I was ordering from my phone. So this is a warning for the rest of you so you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Love the suction on hardwood. Lousy on carpet, because its hard to manuver on the lowest pile rugs. Hate the cord! Too THICK & cumbersome to manuver, no way to roll it onto the vacuum, si it lats sloppily beside the vacuum in storage. Great red/grey combo!

Have an older Oreck vacuum and these are what it needs.

The disposable bags fit our Oreck and was easy to install.

I’m assuming this product is fine. What I don’t like is the amazon person saying he handed the product to the resident. I wasn’t even home. The product was leaning at my front door. There is no need for the person to lie!

Should be sold in smaller quantities, but it was hard enough to find anyway! Easy to put on, stays on well.
