This USB4 cable is compatible with the (as-of writing) newest USB standard. It is cable of carrying up to 240 watts while supporting high enough data rates to be 8K-certified. The standard length makes this a good cable for connecting portable monitors or charging devices.

The 1m long Plugable USB-4 is what I would consider to be a true usb-c cable. It can delivery enormous power – not that I have a device that can make it to 240w as well as move data at high USB-4 40mb/s speed. It is perfect for driving video devices or accessing high data demand devices. The downside to the power and data is the cable is a little stuff (I haven’t dismantled it, but it will need good shielding.)

USB type C cables are are no longer simple and interchangeable. Design, specifications, and build quality are all important, and all factors in the pricetag, too.

I have a GPU box connected to my laptop using TB4. It works surprisingly well, and I actually use that GPU enclosure for two generations of laptop with a GTX 2080ti. The stock USB 4.0 cable that came with the enclosure slowly started having problems, mostly with resolution memory and random flickering, but only at load. This replacement Plugable USB-C cable provides full features such as ethernet, keyboard, mouse and a 4k 120hz monitor. Allows me to plug in one cable and be ready immediately.

Works exactly as expected, quality product. Very fast charging with no issues. Note this package just includes the charging cable, you will need to have your own plug-in unit base to plug into a standard wall outlet.

This is the perfect all-in-one USB-C cable for someone who is always surrounded by tech. I have a 16 M1 Pro MacBook Pro that I use for work and a 2020 M1 MacBook Air that I occasionally use for free writing. Both work well with this TB4 cable, and they connect to a docking station without issue. 3.3 ft is more than enough for my needs. Charging output hasnt been an issue for both MacBooks, and I can also connect to my 27 4K HDR Dell monitor for editing and rendering content. Overall, This is a nice alternative to OEM TB4 cables out there at a fraction of the cost. Worth.

My partner has used this for now for just over a month and he’s had no issues with it and it works well for what he uses it for. I don’t use these things as my partner does anything like this for me and the kids but i do know that if he had any issue with it he would let me know.

This is a fairly decent USB 4/TB4 cable if you require USB hub Alt mode, DP 1.4, or DMA protect etc just to name a few. The physical build quality of the cable is good but not as fancy as some others, and its not as thick or rigid as expected; its actually pretty flexible and relatively thin (which is nice), and its not noticeably thicker than some of the braided USB-C cables that I have which are rated for 100W only.
