> 24 hourThis game is a bit of a departure from the typical way Pokémon are seen/caught, in a great way. Has a real open world feel to it, really lets the players explore the maps. There is really only one main issue - the graphics are pretty bad. While other games like Breath of the Wild and Fenyx Rising have amazing views/vistas, everything looks a lot more dull in arceus. But the new mechanics and game play definitely make up for it.

> 24 hourPokémon really did their thing with this game! the old format was getting a bit stale and repetitive, but this game had me fully engrossed in the beginning. The experience of being able to run around in the open world and catch wild pokémon is truly a breath of fresh air, and it makes the game a lot more interesting and challenging. Speaking of challenging, this game provides a different level of difficulty that the Pokémon franchise hasn’t had in recent memory. From new battle mechanics to wild pokémon actually trying to kill you for once, the game will have you on your toes from start to finish. My only gripes with the game are the painfully long tutorial, where you will just be sitting around clicking A for a good half and hour, and the story, while not terrible, feels a bit trivial at times in terms of the conflicts….the climax of the story however is extremely memorable and is one of the top five moments in pokémon games that I’ve ever played. All in all, this game gives you a fully immersive experience of the pokémon universe, and definitely gives you what you pay for and more! Plus they are adding DLC?!?!?!

> 24 hourSuch a great adventure and great story complete new style of gameplay and controls pushing back a prequel of pokemon Origins back in to feudal Japan and learning about pokemon. Sneaking in tall grass will be you instead of the pokemon lol throw berrys to lure them in and u as the ninja trainer to capture them with poke ball skillz

> 24 hourThere are tons of new mechanics to breathe life into the franchise for those wanting something different. Aside from the true open world concept, there are new ways to catch and evolve, and even gain experience. Even the Pokedex is loaded up with new goals and tasks to complete. Not to mention the optional side quests. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourThe game is amazing, what Id hoped it to be, but how they shipped it mortified me. It looked like someone tried to break it open, as theres a large hole in the actual games case, right at the spine, just torn open. The game was alright and works fine, but the case just doesnt look as good and none of the actual packaging was damaged, just the product itself. So Im disappointed to say the least, just at the seller.

> 24 hourThis is a hard one: there are so many things to like but also so many that just take away from an enjoyable experience. The good & bad: Graphics are stylized well, however the pop in of grass textures and the actual Pokémon (especially when mounted) will make you scare them before you get a chance to catch them. The good: it’s great to see a world filled with Pokémon that has a little difficulty to it. It’s great to see them not just standing but doing actions like sleeping and eating. Plenty to do, literally quest never end and the crafting system isn’t painful. Exploring: it’s a faux open world but that is ok. It’s a great size and you will always want to see more. The Bad: Story is hot garbage, the beginning of the game is damn near an hour of just not giving a crap of what the characters are saying. I have never met such an uninteresting cast of characters in a Pokémon game. Again with having an hour long intro, you are just reading, and it will take all of your strength to continue. The world is so empty, Pokémon aside the world has nothing in it, trainers should have been put in (sorry not sorry) as this would have at least made the game world actually feel lived in. Another aspect that makes it feel empty is the lack of change in the scenery from stage to stage, you will be living in the map. No multiplayer is also a very big deal, this is Pokémon I want to battle other trainers. Three menu systems is ridiculous. Lastly: Doesn’t feel rewarding with the ease of catching the Pokémon. Final verdict: So for me personally it’s a mixed bag. On one hand I loved the concept and thought this was going to be amazing, so with that I may have set myself up for failure with how little the concept was played out. It’s fun, but only when you hit about the three hour mark. That’s when it opens a little bit and you can kind of have the open world experience. Again I wanted to love this game but there are just so many problems. For now I am staying at a 6/10 but it may improve with the dlc. Thanks for reading guys.

> 24 hourGrowing up with Pokemon on game boy color and TV shows. This game is how Pokemon games should of been growing up getting attacked if you dont have your pokemon out, run around while your pokemon are battling. Its like a dream come true. Get this game of you want a challenge.

> 24 hourThis game is absolutely beautiful! Definitely different from past pokemon games but still just as fun! Didnt receive the code for the Garchomp outfit as advertised, and speaking to Nintendo wasnt helpful either. I wont be pre-ordering anymore Pokémon games through Amazon due to not giving the advertised product like they said they would.
