I travel for work but wanted something to go on weekends with. So my girl and family would wonder how many times my bags were lost in Mexico. This thing is nice. Lots of compliments. I wouldnt check this bag or loss sight of it for too long. Fits through luggage screening for a carry on. If flying Spirit I was fine as my free bag, buy might want to get smaller version if you back a lot. Cant say enough good things. Leather is thick, metal looks and feels sturdy. The laptop side could use a thin liner of padding but that would start to offset the bag, and while carrying it was hard to tell which side the laptop was even on.

Three months into using it and one of the caps on the bottom has already fallen off. This bag is good for personal travel to visit relatives or for a weekend trip. However, I travel frequently for work and the bag is not built for that purpose. The bottom caps of the bag are not sewn into the bag, they are simply pushed in and fall out frequently. Additionally, the pockets inside the bag are becoming looser and looser as I continue to use it, especially the laptop holder. All in all, this is an OK bag for personal travel, but if you are planning on using it to travel frequently, I would not recommend.

Wow!!! This bag greatly exceeded expectations!! Wife and I just got back from Florence, Italy, the fine leather capital of the universe. Spent hours looking for a similar bag at many stores there. It was rather easy to find a bag like this for 500 Euros {$525} or more. Just too expensive for my wallet. My wife took a chance on this bag from Amazon and it arrived just in time for Fathers Day. This is a heavy belting leather style duffel bag that is amazingly well constructed with very precise stitching all around. This type leather is made to show the “character marks” that tell the tales of your travels. (It is NOT the bright shiny leather that you don’t ever want to get scratched up.). I got the dark brown version and it is perfect. The bag came with a one year manufactures warranty. I can see my family fighting over possession of this bag soon after I depart for the Pearly Gates some day!

My husband has been wanting a bigger bag, for three day trips. This is it. Cavernous. His first comment was it reminds him of the beautiful old leather tool bags carpenters used to carry. He is a master carpenter so it was love at first sight. It is tall and solidly built with a beautiful leather Id tag that buckles closed. It goes well with his other bas. Update. Still loves it. Forgot to mention the inner padded side pocket for his tablet.

VERY nice bag and thick sturdy leather, seems to be just a hair larger than what I would consider a medium size bag. My room smelled of rich leather for a solid week not a complaint either, packaging was good it even came in a bag to ensure it didnt get scratched in transit.

i have owned a few leather travel bags but this one is by far the most rugged , roomy and good looking bag ever. i plan on some extensive travel and we will see how it holds up. I have read the reviews and there are a few negatives regarding the zipper and how it broke easily . I cant see that . The zippers are quite substantial and the manufacturer covers them for an entire year . Its as big a bag that could still be considered to be a carry on for most airlines. Certainly acceptable in first class.

This bag is absolutely beautiful and the quality is by far the best Ive seen for leather bags at its cost. This bag is certainly worth much more than what it is sold for. If you are looking for a vintage-looking leather bag then this is certainly the one to get. I will be getting the smaller one for school and maybe an everyday carry. I am now a big fan of this company after buying this bag and the Polare long wallet/clutch in navy blue. Im considering buying three of the smaller ones (20 length) for me and for my two older brothers. I doubt anyone will be carrying any bags as nice and classy looking like these at school or the office. I have not put this bag through any tests, just unpacking it and going through the zippers a few times to make sure they function. I also stuffed it with thick coats when it arrived for a day to get its shape as the picture because it arrived folded.

I love the looks of this bag way more than I thought I would when it arrived. The top grain leather and attention to construction is incredible. I thought there was a possibility it would be big and bulky, but it’s not at all. It’s the perfect size for overnight/ weekend travel with more than enough storage without the bulkiness. On everything from the high quality leather, looks and quality zippers, you will not be disappointed!

I love this bag! I’ve been researching nice leather travel bags for a good year before I finally chose and this one jumped out. I’m so happy I did. It’s slightly larger than anticipated, but it’s perfect. I like to travel light and avoid checking bags in, so this is great for me. The quality is top notch. I love the double zipper and the strength and durability of the material.

I had been using this bag for 3-years and really enjoyed it. It carries 3 days of clothes along with other necessities, it is tough and looks amazing. Then the first zipper pull breaks off in Boston. Four days later the second zipper pull fell off in Las Vegas. A duffle is useless when it cannot be closed.
