Not impressed with it because it didn’t look any better after applied as to before applied. Waste of money

I have a 39 year old sailboat (83 model year) that I have owned now for 26 years. I am definitely all about low maintenance. I haul out about every 3years for a bottom job and to refresh of the top sides. The Gelcoat and boot-top stripes are original. My formula is fairly simple, I start by brushing on 2 coats of Fiberglass Stain Remover (FSR ) Gel and then scrubbing off with water and a Scotch-brite pad. I then prep the surface by spraying a diluted Ammonia solution and another lite scrubbing with a Scotch-Brite pad. I rinse thoroughly with water and let dry. I use the Mitt which, as others have commented, has made the application easy and flawless. One bottle will do 5+ coats. The first 2 coats will look uneven and splotchy, but by the 4th coat you will be amazed. Additional coats just add to the shine. Some of my original prep several years ago trapped in some of the old stains near the waterline, and also trapped in some of the oxidation of the boot-top but really is not noticeable once back in the water so I am okay with it. As everyone says, any discoloration will be trapped so prep is the key. As you can see from the attachment, the results are fantastic. These results were achieved over about a 7 hour period from start to finish. It is satisfying to have others, including professional boat prep people come up from the boat yard and make positive comments on how great the finish looks.

Live in Fla and have used this on our 2000 Stingray CS240 for the past 3 years. One bottle did the whole boat. It also last a year plus and doesnt require any type of waxing, once applied. If you do the prep correctly and take your time, it will make even the dullest looking gel coat look like new!

Have been using for 4 years on my 32 year old sailboat. Used Poli Strip, Poli Ox and Poli Prep to clean up prior to applying Poliglow 1st time. Otherwise you are just sealing stains. Then just apply a couple of coats of Poly Glow each Spring. Great product!

Been struggling for years with older neglected boat. Had professionally detailed. Still dull. Found this product in a boating magazine. Took a chance. Unbelievable. Almost 30 year old boat looks brand new. Seriously easy application. Used it on older Boston Whaler. Same excellent results.

This is one of the best products on the market. it performs exactally as advertised which is extremely unusual in todays market. I have used it on my travel trailer forthe last 5 years and it still shines like it is new. Itis easy to apply and if applies as instructrd it will last a reasonable amount of time.

I have a 1991 Key West that had seen better days throughout its 31 years. I tried bleaching, compounds, waxes, etc. Gave this product a shot, and am completely pleased. Before using I did a very light sanding, and a coat of spray paint. Applied 5 coats of this Poli Glow, and the boat looks new. Im ordering more because I have a friend wanting me to do the same to his 1995 Key West.

Like any good finish the results are directly related to the surface preparation. The surface must not have any wax on it hence the need for the poly prep. Do not skimp on this part, If anything overdue it. The actual application is a breeze. You will need 8-10 coats to get a super smooth good looking shine but the stuff dries almost instantly so it really goes quick.Get a 1 gal plastic bag and you can keep your applicators in the frige almost indefinitely. Try it, youll like it.
