My mother insists on ordering only this denture cleanser. She likes that its overnight and she says it really whitens her dentures. I like it because I can afford to buy it for her. When she runs low, she sometimes uses 1/2 of a pill and it still works.

I use cleaning tablets for my nighttime grinding guard, and my lower retainer. Most of the time I buy Efferdent, especially if its on sale or in an economy package...but today, I realized Id run out at the exact same time that I was placing an order for other merchandise on Amazon. When I looked up Efferdent to see if I could toss some in with my order, Polident came up at a better price. Im a very open-minded person, but it gave me pause. Id never purchased an effervescing tablet that was open about engaging in a non-monogamous lifestyle. Where all did these tablets circulate? Where would they have been before they reached my dental appliances? Swinger clubs? Crowded jacuzzis? Would they still have the time and energy to fizz when it was, you know, my turn? Would they think I was weird, or prudish if I DIDNT feel the need to see other sodium bicarbonates? I took a chance on the Polident, and Im happy to say the fizzy disks work just fine, and their relationship choices havent been an issue at all. Theyre focused on cleaning my orthodontia, and they do so responsibly, and Ive learned my lesson about not judging others so fast with my preconceived notions.

Easy to use the tablet. No smell. It cleans well. Always it keeps fresh and good looking. For more than three years, I have been using this product. Never get any infection. Not allergic or irritate the gum.

I know this is designed for dentures, but I use it to get rid of the stains in my toilets. I use them every few weeks. Nice fresh smell!

Wearing a night-guard, to prevent me from grinding my teeth every night, also means maintaining the custom-made, expensive night-guard. Ive learned over the years that the best ways to alleviate the night-guard from cracking and staining was to soak it every DAY in Polident. Not only does it need to be kept moist so it wont crack and break apart, it needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. Polident makes that process so much easier than fumbling with the nigh-guard as I attempt to brush it clean. Now I just drop a tablet into a container of warm water with the night-guard every morning and close the lid. At night, I simply rinse it out with warm water so that its pliable for insertion. Ive extended the life of my night-guard by a minimum of 6 months using this simple process.
