The first time I used it the power button fell off inside the unit. As far as cool air, you could probably place a bowl of ice in front of any fan and get same effect. As the ice melts it left water in base of unit so be careful when moving it.

I opened the box and immediately knew something as weird. The part that should host a power button was just a hole displaying open circuit. The cord came unraveled. The back part that hosted the fan was caved in. This is a cheap product. Even the plastic feels cheap. I opened the box, then I closed the box, then I immediately queued the return label for a refund. Not sure I would recommend this to anyone.

Does not cool that well

I’ve bought this product for a really hot summer, and it arrived very broken. I thought it was going to be a bit better, but the electronics were just a Motherboard w/a Button, Fan connected to the motherboard, and a tiny USB cord. Lack of engineering!

I definitely need something that will cool my immediate space, or better yet, my room as when the sun comes to my side of the building, I tend to cook. Ive been looking for a small personal AC (I have a larger mobile unit but its expensive energy-wise to run), and this seemed like a good idea with the ice packs (rather than drippy ice and water). And it did seem like it cooled the air 5 inches away from the front, so I could stick my feet there and cool down a bit. But that didnt last long. Plus one of the ice packs split open after a couple of uses, despite having followed the max fill line. Also, youre supposed to only keep it in the freezer for 10 hours, but Im not sure how that works then because when would you then have ice packs available to put in the device? The on/off button seemed like it would get stuck down into the body of the fan and Id have to pry it up. Defective and too inconvenient for usage of how to cool these ice packs for use when you actually need them (I cant plan for hot days, I need something I can put in the freezer and forget until its needed). Returned.

The ice pack gel does not keep cool for longer than a couple of hours. The unit has to be drained due to the pack thaws and leaves about 2oz of residual water. In addition, only the left side builds up external condensation leaving a puddle. Considering the unit was purchased because it did not use a reservoir that may leak. The lowest fan speed is very annoying considering the unit has to be relatively close to the individual. Handle is so small, only a couple of fingers can fit through the handle. The product smells like burning plastic and doesnt seem to subside after two weeks of continuous intermittent daily use. This unit doesnt seem to work in ambient room temperatures of 22C to 28C, with a 10 distance. The unit will have to be returned and get a unit with a reservoir. This item is an unfortunate waste of resources. Greed driven product.

I have allowed the ice packs to freeze completely and when using, it IS cooling right away and feels great. However… within an hour or so, the feeling is basically like any normal fan. Even thought the ice pack is still quite frozen, the cooling effect lessens substantially. It does come with two ice packs, so if you rotate them every hour or so, it helps… but definitely not ‘10 hours’.

Seems like it was assembled so badly that the cord couldnt plug into the fan and it never even worked

The slats are loose and fall out -- and youll never get them all back in because you knock out others as you replace the loose ones. The air temperature doesnt feel any cooler as the fan blows over a frozen ice block, and the fan is loud (and gets louder the higher you turn it up). Runs on USB power, so no real fan power. Regrettable experiment.

The blinds was hard to put back in. When open the tone side of the lead broke. I should have sent it back. To have it replaced but it cools so well.
