I needed something to make my studio bearable during infrequent PNW heat waves. This blows mist into the fan, giving a nice evaporating effect. While it might not cool my entire studio (400 sq ft), it does cool me off enough to work. I dont have room for an in-window or stand alone unit so this fans small size is perfect. Its very quiet. The colorful lights are a happy bonus.

This isn’t as cold as i thought it would be. I think i am using it right lol. But i do fill to top w ice, then add water to fill in the spaces between ice. I let it run for OVER 8 hours on the fastest wind setting and it still has water in the tank. It’s slowly evaporated like maybe 1/4 of the tank. It wasn’t as cold as i was expecting throwing a lot of ice in there. But i will say it is MUCH cooler in my room overnight. I live in southern nevada so it is extremely hot. Right now it’s 85 F and it’s only 10 AM and it’s not even summer yet, we’re still in spring season. It’s only getting worse (: This portable a/c actually let me sleep. It is so hot out here that i keep waking up because I’m overheating. The noise it makes is like white noise. It would help me sleep too. I also like the lights that change color but you can turn them off (: It’s worth the $45 i spent on it.

Our master bedroom is regularly warmer than the rest of the house, and we didnt want to get a window AC unit or anything to that size. This does a great job of cooling down the room at night, we typically let it run for a few hours as were going to sleep. Very happy with it.

I use this in my bedroom near my bed and I do have one at the office at my desk. It works. It is starting to get hot and this is convenient to use near you. It is a portable fan and an evaporative cooler. You can choose to use the fan or evaporate cooler. It has 3 fan speeds, a timer, intermittent or constant settings for the evaporative cooler and a light that has 2 settings that rotates colors or you can set it at a certain color or turn it off. Its convenient its portable. The price is fair for a portable evaporative cooler you can aim at you. These already have come in handy when it has started to get hot. I now use them daily. I also want to add, the noise level is very little. It is not loud. These are good quality.

This is a great little cooler. I live with people who want to keep the temperature in the mid 70’s, which is way too warm for me. This keeps my room cool, it’s quiet, and the lights are beautiful to look at. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay cool this summer!

Bought this for my small computer office and have it set on my desk. The USB C power calls is plugged directly into my power strip, no issues getting power. It only needs 1.5A of power so 7.5 watts through USB. I filled it with cold water from the sink (instructions state do NOT use purified water). And it does the job. Read the instructions thoroughly since at first glance, theres no dedicated power button. You hold the fan speed button about 3 seconds and it turns on. It also states you can put some ice in the tank and itll be even cooler but I didnt have to. My office ambient temp is around 73-78 in the summer with all the computer heat around but this cools me down plenty. Keep in mind it probably wont cool an entire room if its too large, but for the price, it fits the job as a personal air conditioner

At first I was skeptical how well this would work. My office seems like the hottest room in the house and I needed a little extra cooling. Well, I am very satisfied, as it is perfect for what I needed. Ive seen a couple comments about it being loud. I dont think its loud at all - probably about equivalent to a desktop fan. I filled it with ice cold water, and let me tell you, it really cooled the room down. We have also used it out on our screened in porch and it is perfect for that as well. I would say the best application is for when people are in fairly close proximity - sitting around a table, camping, or near your bed. It also has some nice timer functions as well, and the remote is a very nice feature. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase!

***UPDATED REVIEW*** OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE - the company really cares about providing a quality product and customer satisfaction. After my original review, they reached out to see if they could help. I want to clarify my earlier review... CLARIFICATION - this is a high-quality misting fan. It is great construction and works perfectly as a misting fan. When it is blowing on you, and the mist hits your skin, it will feel cooler than an ordinary fan. The interesting thing about this is that it has a honeycomb-style matrix in front of the fan blades that collects extra mist and redirects it down to a reservoir. You can see that honeycomb matrix in the picture, but note it is not a traditional filter-type that you would expect for an evaporative cooler. That is the reason for my original review - this is definitely not an evaporative cooler (sends air through a water-soaked filter that through evaporation cools the air), or an air conditioner (uses freon and a cooling exhange with external exhaust fan to cool the air). But this is a great misting fan that gives the sensation of surface skin feeling cooler. As long as you know what you are getting, you will be happy. I personally needed an evaporative cooler for a specific purpose (cooling area for pet bunnies), so it didnt fit my particular need, so this one was an exact fit for my purpose. And (again!) I really appreciated the proactive customer support and caring seller. I have updated the star ranking to reflect that. . . . ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** I wanted to like this little fan, and I was hoping it was one of those small evaporative coolers that actually cools the air. But that is not what this is. It is a neat and quiet little USB powered fan, with a water reserve that can be used as a misting function. The LED lights are usable as a night-light or such, and the remote can be useful to some. But, keep in mind that this does not actually cool the temperature of the air, even in small spaces. However, if you are just looking for a misting fan, then this might work for you. I will be returning this item and keep looking for a portable evaporative cooler (pushes air through wet filters to actually make the temperature lower). Good luck!

This unit is great in my bedroom. I like the variable fan speeds and I get super hot when sleeping so this helps tremendously. I also like that I can turn the light off.

I needed a small fan for my toddler’s room. She gets hot while she sleeps at night and this was a great addition since our regular fan wasn’t doing much. I love that it has a timer so that i have more control over how long it cools down for.
