I wear it when I work. I tend to run hot so it works well inside. Since I wear it inside while working a pretty physical job, it doesnt feel like it does anything for me when Im outside in the heat. I dont have anything to compare it to but inside with the machinery running I cant hear the fan. If your surroundings are quiet, Id give it 3 for noise level and if your surroundings are loud, Id give it a 5 because you wont hear it. I was sweating from head to toe before I bought this. I can still work up a sweat but its rare. Just the cool air blowing on the sides of my face keep me from sweating all over on most days. Summer is coming up so I would imagine that it wont keep me as cool on setting #1 and Id have to use a higher setting.

We bought this for our 16 year old grandson because it was on his birthday wish list. When he opened it and we got to see it work we were impressed. We thought it would be prefect for doing yard work in the hot summer months and even great when just sitting by a pool.

OK I bought 4 (2 white and 2 green) of these, right before a road trip from the DFW area to Phoenix (you know, that divorced parent kid shuffle dance so many of us do these days). I was HOPING I would never need them, but sure enough, on the way back, the A/C in the car gave out, and these things were AWESOME for keeping us all relatively less miserable in the Texas heat!!! The WHITE ones seem to work a bit better than the green ones (slightly more air flow in the white ones) On HIGH, they lasted about 4 hours, so they did a great job!!! 5 stars for the white, and 4 for the green.

If u have longer hair u need to put it up to feel any air around your neck

Blows air nice and strong. If you’re not sweating and you’re in a hot environment then it doesn’t feel cool. It just feels like air blowing. You either need to sweat or mist water on you to feel cold. The device looks good while wearing it. Not geriatric at all. Has 3 levels of air flow. All very strong. Overall I’m pleased.

I have temperature regulation problems thanks to a medical condition. This is great because different parts of my body can feel like it’s a different temperatures and this helps to keep my head in a cool space.

Can’t believe this simple device is as addictive as my iPhone. Single best Amazon purchase this year. I’m one of those guys who has a hard time cooling down in the heat of summer, and this thing just makes that problem so much easier to deal with. Highly recommended!

I brought this for those hot summer days! Its super quite and the fan power is awesome! It keeps me cool when I work outside, or even working out in the gym. The battery life is okay. I tend to have to put it on the charger every night
