I recently acquired a small portable toilet for an upcoming trip and discovered that there is a fabulous biodegradable powder that turns urine into a gel that you can actually pick up – not that you’ll want to! Just throw the bag away when it is full if there is a receptacle or empty the bag and cover the gel with dirt and it will degrade quickly. I haven’t used it yet, but I did watch the video demonstrations and I am convinced this will work perfectly. Rather than add powder to the bag with urine, I figure I’ll put powder in the bag first and keep adding as needed. One tube is supposed to turn up to a gallon of liquid into a gel. Despite its name, its main purpose is to turn urine into a gel, but it’ll also work to dehydrate poo and mask the odor. The packets come in a nice reusable zippered bag. I’m happy I discovered this because I had been planning to purchase kitty litter!

It turns everything into a nice smelling jel. I absolutely love this product. I used it in my portable toilet while camping and was very pleased because with this product there was no bad smell at all. I also pour a little powder in an empty water bottle and when I use the bottle at night to pee in because i dont want to leave my tent, iy just turns the pee into a nice looking blue good smelling jel.

We use in our dry flush toilet in our camper. Instantly takes away any odor!!! These are amazing!

It does what it says and has a very nice smell . Great for prepper bucket toilet.

These individual packets are great, simply pour in the bucket and you’re good to go lol.. they make throwing the bag away a pleasure instead of a chore , it smells good and turns liquid into jelly for no spills , great idea

This product does work as advertised. Ill give it 4 1/2 stars only because of the smell. Its advertised as having a lemon scent. If youve ever used a porta potty then you should recognize the smell. The liquids do gel but that porta potty smell lingers. If you are hiking or back packing, especially in state or national parks, due to their regulations this is a must have. I would recommend this product, especially if you were in a situation where you are stuck at home with no running water, (pipes frozen, etc.).

If youve never set up your own portable toilet in the wilds then you may not understand or appreciate the importance of this product. Many times have I felt fear and anxiety when it comes time to dispose of our waste after a camping trip. Reason being, Im uncertain as to how much pressure our waste bags can take up weight--both solid and liquid--when its time for disposal. And you guys can imagine that if the bag breaks, all hell will break loose. Not with this product in my hand now. It will solidify the fact that my waste bag wont break come disposal time. I recommend this product
