It helps to keep the cords organized and off of the floor.

Every time I buy one, someone in my family takes it lol. They are so helpful and easier to use than traditional extension cords. Allows for both usb and plugs. Have two in my classroom, and one in our living room and one in the master bedroom. They are so compact but allow for so much to be done in a small space.

Once a month I hold a digital photo workshop where everyone brings their laptop, or even their tablet. I have this in the center of the table so everyone can plug in at the same time, and the long cord lets it reach from the wall outlet to the middle of the table.

IMO, the cumulative power of the unit keeps some of the outlets underperforming or not working at all. Do NOT use this for charging your cell phone! Shorted mine out. Its not for heavy duty battery charging.

So many things to plug in on desk. Now all cords are neat and can be charging phone and iPad without wire tangles.

The plugs don’t fall out easy and much better than the strips

I purchased this product because my old surge protector was ancient and it was time to retire it. I needed at least 6 plugs and wanted at least 3 USB-A plugs. I received double both typeses!! I also appreciate that you are able to surge protect ⅓ of the plugs at a time, so as not to waste electricity.

bigger than you think it is, trust me. i bought a black one and its half the size of this one. tbis thing is large! but it works great!

Its fantastic when your electrician plugs are sparce.
