It is nice to see some empty USB ports still available. So many devices to charge and connect to this hub that it almost looks absurd to have so many ports. But we need them.

Ive used a few atolla USB Hubs in the past, and Ive always been very impressed with them. This 16-port USB hub definitely stands up to the high-quality level of their other products. It is physically huge, but its capability and power capability make it worth the price.

Now days every thing is going to USB plugs. This power strip doesn’t disappoint. Many plug to plug in. Each plug has an individual switch. 16 ports in all.

OK now, this is a big USB hub and just what I was looking for. This hub is just over 12 long and easily handles 16 different devices at the same time. I currently have 15 different devices plugged in and the ports turned on and have no issues. This hub is different from others that I have: - This hub is powered - youll need to plug it into a power outlet. All of the other hubs I have draw power from my computer. - You can turn on/off each port if you wish. I have the unit plugged into my tower PC and have a number of devices charging off of it including two phones, an Android tablet and a Kindle. Ive got an external floppy drive, an external DVD drive, 3 external hard drives, a Bluetooth adapter, a small vacuum and a mouse all plugged into it and no problems or issues. I included a photo of the instruction booklet only because I cant figure out what it is trying to say The 16 port USB 3.0 hub expands your computers Type-A port into seven USB 3.0 (Type-A) ports... Seven? I dont get why it says only seven when it is a 16 port adapter.

This was surprisingly large for a computer usb hub. It has 16 ports, each with its own individual power button and LED light to show if its active or not. The hub data link to usb-a port, is hardwired into the hub. A power supply with 12 volts/ 6 amps is provided in the box. This hub is great for people that dislike plugging and unplugging cables. Each port is capable of charging and data, so its a huge expansion perk for any computer.

Wow. That pretty much sums up my initial reaction when I got this out of the box. This hub is just freaking huge (just over a foot long) and the 12/6A power supply is also large and quite heavy. The overall construction seems good and it seems to work well. Having the ability to easily add this many USB3 ports is quite nice in some situations, especially as they all should have a full power budget thanks to the large external power supply for the hub. For my own purposes, this is going to be a blessing for when I have to do an annual update of safety and training videos onto flash drives. I have typically been doing them in groups of four while watching TV in the evening, but being able to start 16 loading at once and then just come back and check on them is going to save me SO much hassle. Basically, this hub is massive and not for everyone, but if you need it, you need it, and this one should serve you well.

This is the largest powered USB hub I’ve ever had, and I’ve got a bunch. This is a 3.0 rated connection and using a 256 GB thumbdrive, the Crystalmark is right on target with the same drive in direct 3.0 link as well as in other computers. I tested all slots and they all work the same. Be aware that to shut down a slot you need to press the slot button for about 2 seconds. Turn on is instant. This is a good anti-goof feature. 6 amp power supply. Main USB cable is permanent connect. 5 stars Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In most cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical.

I run a server that has two USB hard drives and 6 USB audio boards that provides 6 online police scanner feeds - this USB hub really helps keep me connected and still have room for more plugins.
