> 3 dayExtremely well packaged! The PM3-55 arrived in perfect condition. Installation was easy (for lead acid battery there is no need to adjust) Super simple installation, my coach batteries were at 10.1v according to the Solar regulator, fired up the genny and the PM3 was immediately reading 14.64v output on my calibrated multi-meter and 13.1 on the solar regulator (reads @ the battery bank). Ill update as time goes on, my comparison will be against a 1992 vintage supply/charger so I am sure this unit will exceed my expectations.

> 3 dayUpgraded my RV house battery to a 100Ah solar-type SLA / AGM deep cycle battery and learned they need 3 stage charging. The converter in my RV is a very old 2 stage charger. Talked to the battery maker support team and they said my converter would not hurt the battery but that it would never charge the battery over 80 to 85% of full since it didnt have the 14.6VDC mode. So I removed and replaced my old RV converter with this unit and it works great! I bought a battery monitor so I can watch the rate of discharge in detail so I know when to fire up the generator or plug into shore power.

Greater than one weekThe converter arrived on time and worked perfect right out of the box! My motorhome batteries were low so it ramped right up to 14.6 volts, stayed there for about 2 hours, then dropped to 13.8 volts for about 4 hours then went to 13.2 volts and has maintained there ever since. The next day I turned on the furnace all of the lights and both tvs and it held steady at 13.3 volts. It has only been a few days, but at this point I couldnt be happier with this Power Max Converter! Here is the link to a pdf that shows how to install it, that was easy to follow and worked perfectly. Ive had it now for a couple of months and it is still performing great! [...]

> 3 dayVery easy to install. The item has worked perfectly as described. The only downside is the fan. It is very noisy. We have our power supply underneath in our storage compartment, but we are able to hear the fan in the kitchen. Wished I would of known that before the purchase. It gets annoying especially when your trying to sleep.

> 3 daySo far, soo good. Its been running 24/7 for a month now with no glitches. The original unit in my RV was not keeping up with the demand of the two furnace motors and its been very cold. The reliability of the unit over the long haul is yet to be verified, hence the 4 stars.

> 3 dayI use this professionally as an automotive technician. It allows me to supply a clean DC power supply to the vehicle while I perform sensitive tasks like control unit programming. Modern day system control units sometimes allow a programming operation only one time to a module. If communication is corrupted at any point, youve essentially bricked it. What I love best about this product is the battery charging feature. It was able to bring back old dead batteries that other chargers could not. It has very literally saved me money! Also, the 55 amp (for this model) crank assist feature is STRONG. Remember youll need to make up some leads for yourself if you intend to use it like I am. I cut up an old set of jumper cables.

> 3 dayYou loosen 3 screws on the old one and unplug it. Put the wires back just like you took them out and plug it in. DONE 10 mins. I was a bit surprised that the exact brand and part number that I replaced 2+ years ago had already died. Im giving the same brand another chance. Its says RV so open your wallet.
