> 24 hourThe President Richard is the best bang for the buck. Mod to 11 meters, simple. Dont care for the 6 pin mic but you can get a adapter ( 6 to 4 pin). MAKE SURE you get the RIGHT ONE! You can program just about everything with this radio & even go to advance mode & adjust power up to 80W & modulation past 100%. But do this at your own risk as you can damage the radio. As for - 1 star. These radios are said to be made in Minsk, Belarus or Naples Florida....... WRONG........Bought mine on 9/16/22 and the label on the back says ( Made in PRC-----Peoples Republic of CHINA). I checked it for Covid 19 & the fortune cookie that was in the box says USA Dummy-Thanks for the $$$

> 24 hourDid the 11 meter conversion. Red jumper wire in pic. It has to be soldered onto board. Easy task if you have the experience. If not I highly recommend against it. Look online for the steps in menu to set it up after jumper wire mod

> 24 hourvery nice loud clean audio in a small package no VR trimmers for the hack shops to turn.. i also like the fact i can charge my cell phone right off of the included usb port on the radio. P{resident keeps pushing the envelope on these smaller more power radios

> 24 hourGood little radio. Really small footprint, great for just about anything you want a radio in. Mine came with a bad voltage regular so off to my repair guy it went, so thats why the 2 stars. Great audio and power after tune and alignment.

> 24 hourI loved the look of this radio. The small size is great. This radio needs to be setup by a qualified shop. I reached out to President USA and they put me in toutch with Custom CB radios in Brazil, Indiana. Love the New President radios.

> 24 hourVery easy to convert to 11 meter if you can solder. 1 little jumper . Look it up on YouTube. This is the best radio you can buy under 200 bucks

> 24 hourFor the price it cannot be beat. This many options and this much power in a galaxy would cost you $400. The audio is very clear. After tweak and peak it is deadkeying 30 watts and swinging 70 watts on my Dosy meter. Not bad for a radio that cost less than $200. All features work great, and if adjusted properly, the best echo Ive ever heard in a radio. Im very please. May get one to use as a base station in the future.

> 24 hourDo yourself a favor and get this radio. Only been trucking for 11yrs now and I’ve gone through more than a few radios, it kinda became a hobby. Anyways, all of the good reviews are 100% true. This is THE BEST radio “out of the box” I’ve ever had the pleasure of keying up. The 50w are there from the factory, no tuning required. The RECEIVE IS AMAZING, and so clear. The ASC (auto squelch control) is a game changer and I don’t ever want a radio without it again. This radio is packed with great features, you’ll just have to see for yourself.

> 24 hourPretty good radio for money. Online instructions for solder points are correct. Look for white line on board. Good radio for channel 19... Auto squelch is pretty nice and squelches well, although I wish it would somewhat fade in and hold a little longer, rather than having quiet interrupted by a sudden blast of sound then quiet again, then another blast of sound. Reminds me of the old cobra 19’s. Not very refined in that sense. Turn squelch knob all the way left for auto squelch. Lots of different settings that are fun to play with. I like the beeping swr meter as I can make adjustments quickly with window rolled down and door closed without having to get back in and key up every time. I would MUCH rather it use a 4 pin mic, since I never use the Mic up/down channel buttons anyway. The mic sounds ok but not great, and feels cheapy. Overall good buy in my opinion.
