> 24 hourThis is a good iron. I had one in the past that worked for more than 10 years. Once that one gave out . I knew this was the iron I wanted to replace the one I had, so I got online and found the same one and reorder it.

> 24 hourI have been a diehard Rowenta user for the past 30+ years and doubt that I will ever find a better maker. This is my third Rowenta iron, I replaced the one before this because it would turn itself off during use and leak water onto the garment being ironed. It had to be at least 20 years old. The only problem that I have with this model is an annoyance more than a problem. Due to the darker plastic that covers the water reserve, it is very difficult to see the level of water in the “tank”. I have to use a very bright flashlight and shine into the area that holds the water while tipping it back and forth to see the motion of the water in order to determine the amount or if it needs to be filled. The other minor problem is the cap that covers the water funnel can be difficult to open and also difficult to snap closed. Other than those two minor issues, it heats up quickly, provides plenty of steam, glides across the fabric without any dragging. I have no hesitation in recommending this iron for its performance.

> 24 hourMost my dresses are linen, so I can really appreciate the power steaming and weight of this iron. Yes, it is heavier, but it serves a purpose; I dont have to push down on clothes any longer. This iron really does do almost all the work for me. I highly recommend. If there were 6 stars to give, Id give them

> 24 hourThis supposedly well made iron was a disappointment. While it worked well at first, slowly one feature after another stopped working. The steam button first went and then the red light started blinking constantly during use, meaning it was shutting off. I had to keep setting it upright to keep the red light from blinking. Also, it is VERY difficult to see where the water level is as that is a dark blue clear plastic. I always used distilled water even thought it is not necessary according to the description. I have only had this iron since early September and it wasnt cheap! I cannot bring myself to replace it with the same manufacturer.

> 24 hourI recommend using distilled water, to keep the hard water deposits from forming. All of the functions work well. It takes out wrinkles (manual effort is required).

> 24 hourGreat iron, except, upon using it on the 3rd time it shut off and will not turn back on...I have tried everything...Thought it may have been the outlet, No. Then, I thought it was just that it needed to cool down...even thought it has an auto shut off, I tried to unplug and plug it back in some hours later...Still doesnt work. So disappointing as I have always used Rowenta irons and never had an issue. I will try another model, nothing is perfect, they have not lost a customer... I have faith a new model may do the trick.

> 24 hourLove the iron. The light is hard to see and there is no audible signal for when it is shutting off. I wish they made a small version of this.
