Protimeter BLD5365 Surveymaster Dual-Function Moisture Meter

Great meter

As a public insurance adjuster I inspect properties daily for water intrusion. I debated a long time over which dual-function meter to get or whether to get an invasive and non-invasive one. In the end, I took the plunge and I dont regret it. Unlike the inferior and less expensive ones, I dont have to put it on masonry, wood or drywall settings, it reads everything and goes 3/4 below the surface. Ive been able to find moisture behind ceramic tiles which I could never do with less expensive items. And the pin feature with options is great. I highly recommend this.

This meter is just what the professionals need and use. This is the third one I own and it is just as capable as the first one. A great product. The tool was delivered ahead of schedule too!

I love this moisture meter! My only complaint is that the cap that covers the pins falls off rather easily.

Instrument is not functioning in survey mode. Can not pick up wet material even at 1/8. Very overpriced for tool that functions at the level of $50 moisture meter that you can purchase at hardware store.

The Amazon delivery person needs to be more careful with the delivery, that was 1200 worth of items and were just left in front of my office late at night. Anyone could have easily taken them, I went late at night to pick up my moisture meters when I found out they were left outside.

This is great trust me dont go with cheaper versions as i did. I got one for 300 stopped working after a couple if uses. I love that it is both pin and pinless readings.
