It is a good quality nail clipper ever! The blade is sharp and leaves clean cut! And clipping moment is effortlessly smooth and I don’t have to press it hard at all. This doesn’t disturb nor harsh feelings to my cats. Another best part is their nail’s cut edge doesn’t break at all! Highly recommend this product!!

Weve been struggling for years to trim our cats claws with the standard cheap trimmers that you find online and in most pet shops. These are *so* much better for two main reasons: 1) theyre sharp, so they require very little pressure to cut the nail (which the cats like better since they dont feel any tug as youre trimming), 2) theyre both thin and narrow (i.e., in both the width and the height of the blade), so theyre much easier to get behind each claw (again, which the cats like much better because they dont feel the back of the blade pushing up against their paw as youre maneuvering it in). This is one of those products where paying for higher quality makes an *enormous* difference. I cant believe we used the old style of trimmers for so long, we really struggled to get our cats to sit through trimming and these have made the job much, much easier. Thank you, Necoichi! I had been using a similar looking clipper that I bought at the pet store. That one gives a big crunch cut and leaves fractures. Then I fix with a file. I thought that was normal, and I suppose it is. This Japanese clipper however, is a game-changer. It creates a clean cut and requires much less pressure to operate. I also use it to fine-tune the cut by clipping just the edges to soften them. Then its much less work with a file to round it further. My cats are calmer with this precision cutting versus the old heavy-pressure chopping. Sad for me and my cats that I didnt find this sooner.

If youve ever tried to cut your cats nails, you know its not easy, especially with those awkward clippers that are out there. Throw everything away youve ever used before and use these. Amazing!!! Easy and Stress-free!!!

I have worked for a cat rescue organization and these scissors are the very best item available in the marketplace. I buy these as gifts for my friends who have cats and all these people also think they are wonderful. Because the scissors are sharp they quickly cut the cats nails and the cat hardly realizes that anything happened.

I like the way it cuts without injury to cat.

The scissors slide on my fingers. Kitties are moving targets when trimming claws and having to reposition scissors is very inconvenient. They cut well and clean so claws aren’t ragged. I kept mine. Maybe I am not the best at the process so…

These are much better than the guillotine clippers. As stated could have been a little sharper but my younger cat just lays there and lets me clip his nails. My older cat is un sure of them hes gun shy after us trying to use the Guillotine clippers on him, wish we would of had a pair of these when he was little.
