SFP-T transceiver works as expected providing upto tested 1Gbps speeds over CAT 5e cable. This is in use on a Juniper SRX 3xx device and no losses of packets under test conditions. Fits well into SFP cage with proper locking to cage. Cable connections are also tight allowing solid connections. For systems that can query the SFP there are some diagnostics that can be reviewed. While likely being unsupported by most hardware vendors this good backup alternative.

Speeds tests with this and with a normal switchport were very close. Metal well-made lever to remove the module, standard packaging for SFPs. Works in Cisco or at least if you enable non-Cisco SFP which is typical for my applications. If this unit does not work in Cisco it may be errdisable, fix this use no err-disable detect cause gbic-invalid, and service unsupported transceiver. If disabled then shut down and re-enable that interface.

The 1000BASE-T SFP RJ45 Copper Transceiver worked out of the box. I havent had the opportunity to measure if the bandwidth is actually met, but I dont have many devices that require or support it. Word of caution, make sure you get the correct type of device. You may not pick the right one if youre not really sure.

I tested this on my Dream Machine Pro and had to set the port to 1000M because of a bug in the software, but this worked fine. Good option if you need an extra RJ45 port in a pinch.

This SFP adapter seems well made, and, so far, has performed flawlessly providing a backbone network connection from an 8-port Gigabit POE switch. The POE switch this is connected to services eight video security cameras, a mix of 5MP and 4K cameras, all running two streams, (full-res and a sub-stream), at 15fps. This generates a steady stream of network traffic with little room for error. This SFP adapter handles the traffic with no issues, network packets are clean with no drop-outs of corrupt packets. The adapter is housed in a precision all metal case. It fit the SFP socket perfectly with no issues. The RJ45 socket has a locking flange to secure the connecting cable. This is a plug-and-play adapter - No setup is required. Im pleased with the adapter. It was very reasonably priced and is working well.

I have a Cisco 3850 and older switches to use this transceiver on. All of my devices worked just fine with this and didnt need to force compatibility in the config. It just worked out of the box and didnt exhibit any issues from my testing. Worked fine for uplinks and testing on the equipment I needed to work on.

Needed a RJ45 Transceiver for a project and for testing equipment. This works and is an outstanding value! Works exactly as advertised. Tested on a few Extreme Networks switches.

I am waiting on a new switch with an SFP port to add one copper RJ-45 port to a fiber switch. I did my research and the QSFPNESE had good reviews for building out a 1GB LAN. My network drop will be well within the 100 meters specification in the product description. I am looking forward to installing and testing this transceiver in the switch.

I have a UDM-Pro and use one of the SFP ports for failover if (when...) the Xfinity service goes down. Ive been using a Ubiquiti SFP adapter for about 2 years, but didnt have a backup. This SFP adapter looks nearly identical - the case is indistinguishable, although the exposed circuit board is clearly a little different. This QSFPNESE SFP adapter was recognized instantly by the UDM-Pro. The UniFi software shows the vendor as OEM and the part number as GLC-T-QS (see image). It connects at 1,000 FDX, but I dont have the ability to test beyond my LTE cell phone uplink, which seems to max out at 80Mbps with the poor signal level in the house. This item is a little less expensive than the Ubiquiti adapter, and it also doesnt have Ubiquitis high shipping costs!

I dont have anything to test actual performance but I plugged it in and attached a CAT8 cable and the switch recognized it as 1000 Base-T speeds. Performance was exactly the same as the module I replaced for testing. Latch locks it in place and works for removing. Nothing more to really add here. It works as advertised.
