I bought my car used from a local dealership and the previous owner must have had either a hungry toddler or a dog that left many bite marks in the key fob, and the two top buttons were peeling up. I was looking for a way to replace the fob, but stumbled upon these covers. These are everything I wanted and more! I even like the way the buttons feel and “click”! I bought two black ones, and they both look very sleek. These covers have brought my abused key’s back to life!!!!

I purchased a new Traverse and wanted something to distinguish my fob from my husbands. I choose the pink as I am a resent breast cancer survivor. I had a couple comments as to the covers and where I got them.

These fit perfectly over the key fob for my 2019 Silverado RST key fob. One day I couldnt find my keys, turned out I accidentally left them in my pocket and put it through the full cycle of the washer. I freaked out, brand new key fob was certainly useless. Not in the least. Its been 3 weeks since it happened, these silicone protectors certainly saved me a few hundred dollars from my mistake. I realize that nowhere in the description does it say they are waterproof, but holy cow, this one time it was. Wont make that mistake again. Overall, a great product, and no lint stuck to it.

It was easy to put on. Not sure about durability yet as I just received it.

Only had a few days, but so far I think they will work for a while. It is not too thick for controlling the buttons on the key fob. Considering when it cost over $300 for a key fob, this will work. Did not need a new key fob, just a new cover, but Chevy dealership was just out to make more money. They would not sell just the cover.
