I believe this is the best bang for your buck for a mount. Mounted this on my motorcycle and have had no issues at all after bumpy roads or high speeds (never in excess of the speed limit of course ;] ). I did get the vibration dampener and believe it is a must-have addition to enhance your experience with this mount.

Super easy to use and very convenient and clean looking. I put one on all of my bikes.

This updated version has two big improvements. The older plastic one had spacers that would slip out as you tightened a tapered bar, the new spacer has raised sections that fit into matching notches around the inside to help reduce the spacer sliding out. The other big improvement is that the plastic version had a nut molded in, and was susceptible to coming out if you tightened the bar clamp enough to keep the spacer from sliding out.
