It would be nice if it came with either instructions or at least the website url to get the kernel software for it but once you find it it works great.

Downloaded the ACE Wood firmware V1.62 .rar file onto the sd card and it worked, It crashed a bit at first, but now it works fine. Able to play nes and snes, as well as gb games with the emulators

Was easy to load the additional needed software. Other reviews are spot on. Up a d running. It has its navigation quirks, but you cant beat the price range. If you plan on playing your backed up 3DS roms you may need to homebrew your rig, otherwise everything else plays really well. Using in: 2011 OG 3DS XL with 32gb sd card class 10.

Just like it says in order for this card to work you have to put a kernel/software on the sd card specific to the r4 card since it comes with no sticker or brand name and no instructions on what web site to download the kernel/software it is then a unknown software you have to download with out a name it is useless I even tried the Ace3DS+ kernel/software but it still didnt work save your money and time spend the extra $15 buy the one that is $30 sending back for refund

As long as you are aware that this is not an R4 card, there is no problems using it. Since this is a clone of the Ace3DS Plus, you need to download the .rar file from the official Ace3DS Plus website. The .rar file from their website contains all the needed files that you need to put on your SD card. If you do not do this, the card will not show up as anything in a DS/3DS. After extracting the .rar to the SD card, the card will show up as a Spongebob game. All games that I have tested work fine. Do not post bad reviews simply because you did not know what firmware to use.

This card is incorrectly advertised. It is not an R4 card. It appears to be a clone of an Ace3DS+ and runs the kernel for it (you need to search it and add it to the card). This would be fine if I needed the card to run DS backups, but thats not what I needed it for. I was trying to run NTRBoot for homebrew system recovery, and when I try to flash it the NTRBoot flasher says it is unsupported, even when using the option for (official) Ace3DS+ cards

The blank r4 cards worked best for me as I was able to customize each card specifically for each kid. They have enjoyed playing each of the different games Ive added. You just need to know where to get the software program a d the games to download and reddit is a good source for information. Im planning on buying more for the my other kids and myself.

Works great! Like other reviews have mentioned, make sure you download the Ace3DS kernel and place the unzipped files in the root folder of your MicroSD card. Then, simply fill up the games folder with as many ROMS as you want/can! It shows up in the DS Menu as SpongeBobs Atlantis Squarepantis, but itll launch right into the Ace3DS software. Works great on my DS Lite!

So, when I first bought this, I knew I had to find a Kernel for it. I HAD TRIED EVERY KERNEL AND NOTHING WORKED! That was until a neuron clicked in my head. MAKE SURE TO PUT EVERY FILE IN THE ROOT OF THE SD CARD, INCLUDING THE _DS_MENU.DAT BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DONT. I spent almost a week trying to get it to work until I figured out my issue. To also add on, try AOS before anything (just search up Ace3DS+ Firmware in google and a website called archive.org will provide the file)
