Raspberry Pi 3 b+ Case, iUniker Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ Transparent Case with Raspberry Pi Heatsink for Raspberry Pi 3B+, 3B - Access to All Ports (Clear)

This a good case if you are just looking for something to protect your raspberry pi from the sides and below. I would not recommend putting this in public view unless you are putting this in a closet already.

It looks like it was designed for the Pi 3 Model B+ because you don’t have to modify it to install your Pi and once installed properly all of the ports are accessible with the case in place. I have two Pi’s and initially I bought one of these cases to see how I liked it. After getting it and using it I purchased another for my second Pi. It doesn’t come with instructions but it’s fairly easy to figure out how to set it up. As others have said, the tabs on the side can be tricky – I didn’t break the tabs on either of my cases. Just remember you don’t have to force anything to get the top off or put it back on. Looking closely at the tabs you can see that if you lightly push on the top of the case the associated tab on the bottom of the case will free up – just repeat for all 4 tabs. Before putting the top on just make sure the Pi is pushed down into the base and screwed in place properly. When putting the top back on, guide it into place looking for the tab holes. Also, as mentioned the SD card slot is a little hard to get to, but you can remove and re-insert the SD card while the Pi is in the case. The plastic for the case is really pretty thick – it measures at least 1/16” to me. It’s clear so I can see the LED on the Pi. I got all of the screws and rubber feet. I also got the two heat sinks but I didn’t install them (there appears to be plenty of holes in the case for venting) – I’m waiting to see if the Pi overheats, and if it does then I’ll put them on. It was packaged nicely with little zip bags for the parts and plastic to protect the case during shipping (I saved the heat sinks in their little zip bag for potential future use).

Plain and simply, this case just does exactly what you would expect. Its a durable clear case that was meant to keep your Raspberry Pi safe and it does a damn good job of that. It was extremely easy to assemble. Literally just follow the cases mold and put your Pi in. The case clicks shut and holds the Pi well. There are also 5 screws (1 extra) to hold your board to bottom steady but it doesnt seem neccessary as there is no wiggle room inside the case. The rubber feet are a nice addition as well and just sticker on the bottom in the corners. Lastly it comes with 2 heat sinks but I didnt find myself using these as I already had my two for my Pi but maybe if I decide to get another Pi this will be handy. There are plenty of cases built specifically for the Raspberry Pi and you would be fine purchasing those as well but if you were looking something that is just simple and easy to setup then you wont go wrong here.

The case allows access to GPIOs with the top on. Another nice feature is that there are screw holes in the bottom for mounting the PI. I have a screw-terminal break-out board on top of the PI (case lid cant be on while using this) that I use for prototyping and these holes allow the standoffs for the break-out board to sit on the board. I have had other cases that have plastic clips that push up into the PIs mounting holes that will not let these sit flat.

This product is a great case for my Raspberry Pi 3B+! The included heat sinks was a nice plus for me to put on the CPU and wifi chip. Great price too!

It does what its supposed to and is easy to assemble.
