Ravensburger Magical Potions 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults - 16816 - Every Piece is Unique, Softclick Technology Means Pieces Fit Together Perfectly

My husband and I love to do puzzle and 1000 pieces is our soft spot. This is the third time that we are doing a Ravensburger puzzle and we are very disappointed. Yes, their SoftClick technology is good and their colors beautiful. The first time 3 pieces were missing one on the border and two other in the rest of the puzzles and another one was there but just did not fit where it should have. The second of their puzzle was beautiful, somewhat challenging but this is why we buy puzzles, This puzzle Magical Potions, our third experience with Ravensberger is really bad. THREE pieces of the border simply do not fit and TWO others are missing. Plus abundance of the blue powder as everyone complains about for the Ravensburger puzzles. It would also be nice to include a picture of the puzzle. This more than 100 year old company has yet to figure out quality control. When we received the puzzle from Amazon , it was in a box sealed and the bag (non reclosable) containing the pieces was sealed as well. This is a real turn-off and will be it for us with Ravensburger: they are plenty of other puzzles out there which are equality beautiful, challenging and have all the pieces they promise.

I bought several of these Disney themed puzzles from Ravensburger. Each one had a challenging border (thought I had it but then the last piece didnt fit so you have to switch them around to get it just right) but that adds to the fun. If I had a little kid I would have framed these for their room, but I boxed them up to do again someday.

This puzzle is really fun, lots of textures and colors to work with. Just the right amount of challenge. Highly recommended! I look forward to more images by this fabulous artist.

Have ordered many of these puzzles and they are always missing pieces.

Above and beyond expectations with fine details next to each potion that made this a fantastic puzzle to build.

This puzzle is absolutely wonderful to work! It puts me in the mind of a color challenge because each potion is its own unique color. This makes sorting the pieces an absolute breeze if you like to use trays. It works quickly too with not much challenge here. I wondered if the grey areas that surrounded each potion would be difficult, but they ended up being narrow enough that most of them you could see part of the color of what potion border it touched. So basically, you can pick your favorite potion and then work through them one by one, and then fill in the last bits of grey at the end. The quality was excellent too with vivid, bright colors, and really nice detail. I definitely recommend this puzzle for a casual and enjoyable puzzling experience! You’re going to have fun with this one!

Beautiful artwork and excellent quality. Kudos to the talented artist behind this, it made for a very engaging evening putting it together as a family.

I have a lot of Ravensburger puzzles - the quality is always very good. I did not expect this one to be remarkable in one way or another, but I found it suprisingly fun. There are just enough clues in terms of colors and shapes to guide you along, so although it takes some effort, the process is very structured and enjoyable. The puzzle can be completed faster than some of the other 1000-piece puzzles Ravensburger makes, so it could be particularly appropriate as a gift for kids and adults who are transitioning from 500-piece puzzles to the next level.

This is a beautiful puzzle, that was really fun to complete. I had a weekend with the house all to myself and finished it in 2 days. However, it was missing a piece! I’m so surprised, from a Ravensburger puzzle! I purposely shopped that brand to get a puzzle that would have good color, pieces that fit, and … of course, not be missing any pieces!

Just look at it. The art is gorgeous, and the quality is high. I couldnt keep my kids away from it. I love the individual potion vials, that made assembling the puzzle really fun. So much personality in the different potions. A huge congratulations to the artist: Nathaniel Mortensen. He is a brilliant illustrator, and game designer. looking forward to more of his work!
