Ah, this whole series of puzzles from Colin Thompson and Ravensburger are just tons of fun. Im slowly collecting all of them. As with the previous ones, the fun continues after you solve the puzzle, because then you get to roam around it picking up all the neat things hes stuck inside the cupboard (in this case). His little pink guys are back. Dont know what they are, why they are there or what they are doing, but I love em. Plus all sorts of visual fun and interest. So, some points: - Ravensburger puzzles are made with thick, meaty pieces. They fit and sit well. No worries about bends or mangles. - For the first time (in my experience with Ravensburger) they included a poster of the puzzle. Thats great, since the box picture is partially obscured by promo printing. Maybe this is a new thing for 2019. If so, keep it! - They are correct when they say low-glare finish. Even my inappropriately lit work area didnt cause any squinting. - Caution! Ravensburger does have the most puzzle dust of any manufacturer Ive tried (and Ive done a LOT of puzzles). The how I solved it section: These puzzles, because of all their unique areas, are close to an easy solve. In my case, I hit the reds first (including the patterned sections). The colored pencils are almost too simple to mention. Then I went for the alphabet. Next, the wheeled areas. Knocked out oranges and greens and then the shop on the right. From there, it was patterns and faces. Because this comes together so swiftly and its one of those puzzles, at about a hundred pieces left, I shut down the poster and just looked at pieces and puzzle openings. It became a combination of puzzling and Concentration (yes, I know that no one remembers the game Concentration). A fun and entertaining entry into the cupboard series by Colin Thompson. Miss them not!

While it doesnt say so on the site and you cant read the side of the box in the photo, this is a Colin Thompson puzzle. Out of the entire Ravensburger catalogue, the Colin Thompson puzzles are our favorites. These are not puzzles based on photos or photo-realistic art. They are more like dozens of miniature caricatures linked by some common theme, (here - goofy crafts and craft materials). The resulting sharp and colorful drawings, with an incredible amount of detail, load a lot of funny business into each puzzle. There are no muddy lines or big fields of one color; I exaggerate, but each puzzle piece is practically a little drawing on its own. We always turn to Ravensburger puzzles because of the quality and fit of the pieces and the bright, sharp printing. Subtle differences in the shapes of pieces are appreciated. This puzzle reflects the expected Ravensburger quality. So, another happy Ravensburger purchase.

Prior to COVID, my spouse and I loved doing puzzles. We did so many we discovered our love of the Ravenburger brand puzzles. The quality and attention to detail is incredible. The only downside was after COVID, the puzzles doubled in price, but I understand there was a new market for them as people were stuck at home. The prices seem to have leveled out now. But of all brands we still favor the Ravenburger for their details and bright colors. If you haven’t tried one please do. They are by far the best.

This puzzle is so well made, and I loved working on it. Its sturdy and thick pieces make it a work of art. Ravensburger never fails. I am presently having it framed to hang in my craft room. I just like looking at it.

My husband and I love the Ravensburger puzzles. The pieces are thick and smooth. This particular artist uses a lot of different types of styles within one puzzles - photos, art deco, comic-book-ish. We build these WITHOUT looking at the cover. Its always fun to see the little characters hiding among the items on the shelves. It entertains us for at least a week at a time. Lots of opportunity for re-building as well.

Great puzzle and Ravensburger is one of my favorite puzzle makers, but I am disappointed to see the same puzzles I bought last year selling for double or triple the price that I bought them for.

Over the course of this year of 2020 challenges, we have done a number of jigsaw puzzles. There are therapeutic benefits to these and they are a regular part of our day. This particular company ranks tops - solid pieces that are exceptionally crafted and of just the right thickness. The design is fun and challenging but not impossible. Each piece stuck in is a moment of delight. When we can we will do more Ravensburger puzzles as well as look for this particular artist - we did get his bookstore one which we will do soon. I highly recommend these.

Another great ravensburger puzzle! Lots of tiny detail, but not quite as difficult ass some of the other Colin Thompson puzzles, I own over 20 RB puzzles and have never had a missing piece. Much to my surprise in this box, I had two extra pieces, duplicate edge pieces. Go figure!

This is one of the most detailed puzzle weve worked. It was fun but be prepared to spend a few days at it. Ravensberger make the best, durable puzzles, pieces stay together and they can be used over and over.
