Red Devil 0405 Duraguard Kitchen & Bath Siliconized Acrylic Caulk, 5.5 oz, White

This is siliconized caulk and not silicone caulk. As a result, it isnt ideal for use around showers/tubs where consistent water contact is possible.

I used this to caulk around my bathtub and waited 72 hours to use the shower per the direction and it immediately cracked. And yes, I removed all the old caulking and cleaned it thoroughly. Furthermore, it was completely dry before the application of this product.

It was easy to use and convenient

Along with a caulk edger tool, this product is durable and easy to use. I recently had to re-caulk my shower and could run this silicone caulk around the bottom in no time. Cleans up easily too.

Its really only good for like one standard alcove tub. The rest of it is still in the tube and somewhat difficult to get out. Therefore, youre wasting some of the sealant. Even as I applied a fair amount of sealant, there were still some cracks in the sealant once it dried (even with weighting the tub down with a tub full of water). And no matter how much I tried to use an angled cut nozzle, I still had to use a sealant trowel for a somewhat smoother angled finish. Once dried, it turned to a slight pinkish color. But for touchups, it should do the job. For reapplication or new installation, caulking gun is still the best way to go.

First one I ordered had a hole so I requested a replacement but the second one that arrived was an off yellow color. It did the job though!

Easy to use and clean up with water, turns clear and cures quickly, really happy with the results. I mean, thats it, its caulking not a new iPad...

Used it to seal the bathtub, let it dry for a couple of days. Then as soon as it got water on it, it became bubbly, and pealed off. This is the worst silicone caulk ive used in my life.
