Cold grey is essential to mixing colors...Rembrandt brand is highly recommended.

I tried Caput Mortuum Violet, and it gives the perfect depth to my shadowed skin tones. I loved it so much, I bought two tubes. The paint itself is highly pigmented and thinly ground. It spreads like hot butter, and has so problem with coverage. I think Rembrandt may be my new favorite paint.
