If you have difficulty holding Apples remote, picking the correct orientation of the remote, finding the remote when it slips between cushions, or not stepping on the remote when it drops on the floor, then this silicone cover is for you. I find issues with most remotes, such as keys being in wrong places, tiny buttons, two hands to operate functions, etc., but Apples remote is in a league of its own. Jobs choice of art over common sense was not good. I finally got fed up with my remote and started looking for a cover or a different form factor that worked with AppleTV. I found this cover, tried it and was really surprised how well it solved many of the problems with visibility, operation, and holding of the remote. Im giving these to my kids who thought the cover worked well.

We got 3 different colors of this as we have 3 apple TVs that way they cant get confused. I also like it because we have leather furniture and the remote was constantly sliding off the arms or slipping into the cushions and getting lost. That doesnt happen anymore.

This little item is so handy. I first saw one that my son had when I visited him. I had to get one. It makes the Appletv remote so much easier to hold on to, and comfortable in hand! It’s a great little item!

Does it protect the remote from drops on hardwood floors and tile floors..? YES However, the flaps on the top area of the case block the corners of the trackpad on the top of the remove. Which make it difficult to rewind and fast forward video. It’s very annoying. I returned it due to that.

Works great

This apple TV remote cover is very flexible and softer than it appears. It is soft but not slippery. The silicon cover fits the remote perfectly. I bought the red color and it has a slight orange tint on it and it looks great.

Have had mine for about 2 months, and it’s been great. Prior to getting this, the remote would frequently slide out of my hand and be hard to position because of the tiny size. This gives grip and a comfortable position in the hand.

Takes the “slippery out of the remote control! Actually helps us operate the tiny Apple TV remote a bit better due to our ability to grip it. The red color helps us locate it in the room. We bought two of them — blue for the Apple upstairs and red for the Apple downstairs.
