Phenomenal game. Fun twist in the traditional worker placement mechanic with fun, easy-to-get rules and moves. Really awesome art as well. Great fun, some thinky-ness, but not too much and can get a game done in 60-90 min easy.

Great Game, Great components, great fun.

This is a different and fun worker placement game for 2-4 players. Game play takes about 90 minutes. My family thoroughly enjoys this game! The viking theme is extra fun - it is especially good if players are about the same ability as far as game playing skills go. I highly recommend this game. Please mark if you find my review helpful. As with most worker placement games, this one takes a while to explain everything. However, once you get into the game, it’s a surprise hit. My friends keep asking me to bring it back. This is unique among worker placement games because you only ever have one worker. You place that worker, take that action, then pick up another worker and take that action. It’s a really fun mechanic. There’s a few different paths to victory, so the game has never felt stale. You get a lot of game in a surprisingly small box, and all the materials are high quality. Definitely one of the better purchases I’ve made.

This game is a lot of fun, easily learned and taught, and consists of very high quality components. It is the second game in a three game series. You do not need the other games as they are all standalone. However, with the addition of a small expansion you can link all of them together. The theme is fun and this worker placement game easily holds your interest. I have this game and Explorers of the North Sea (the third game, also excellent game, but different mechanics) and will be adding Shiprights soon. The night before it arrived I watched two YouTube videos on how to play while I perused a downloaded copy of the rules. When the game arrived the next day we broke it out and started playing. Its that quick to learn. The only think I would like to see from Garphill Games for this series is a 5, or 5-6 player expansion.

Bought this game to play with my brothers and they enjoyed it a lot. Learning the game went smoothly. The instructions were clear and detailed. First game took 2hours. Every game afterwards took between 1 hour to 1.5hour. Would definitely reccomend this game to others and those who are beginnners.
