Instalation was some what simplified...But ended up having to go to a screen fixing place & pay $100 plus tax, because the screen kept glitching... Smh

tools are cheap and break easily, includes alo tof parts that are not needed, customer service does not respond, go with the $30 replacement

Good kit but the new screen broke while installing it.

Touch screen has many dead spots and ghosting. Have not been able to get ahold of anyone regarding this.

Overall, I would describe this replacement as “okay”. The touch screen worked perfectly, the already attached adhesive strips were very convenient and the included tools were fine (it was nice it included all the necessary tools). The screen itself had a few flaws: there was glue on the screen near the connectors. Also, I didn’t notice it until adding the screen protector, but some weird vertical streaking on the glass itself. I would buy this again, but only for a specific situation: this is the second time my son broke his screen, and the flaws in the screen were fine for him. If you’re looking for a “near perfect” replacement, I would not buy this.

It works as advertised. The tools that were included worked well. The digitizer feels thicker than the original screen on the iPad 7th gen model. My only complaint is that the adhesive isnt as strong as I would like, but that is all the reviews Ive looked at.

Update: 8/30/22 Seller contacted me and send a replacement screen which arrived quick, I waited to do update to see if this screen replacement on 7 gen iPad was going to work properly after at least a week of use and it is doing great. Easy installation and it is working perfect, no issues so far and installation was a breeze. Just make sure you get your own adhesive tube to get screen to adhiere properly. Installation is a plus; Easy installation after carefully removing all broken glass pieces from original screen and cleaning shell, it worked really good and looked wonderful. 2 days later: screen lagging, touch response is annoying and slow, adhesion is not holding. Disappointed after what I thought was a success this screen is just not working for me. Tools were good and like I said it seemed great at first but TWo days after installation screen is acting up!
