As stated in other reviews, this replacement vacuum bag is a bit longer than a standard C type 5055. However, it works just fine being tucked in a bit. I think it must be a 5058 replacement but I dont have any vacuums that use this size and can only comment on 5055 C type. I have no experience with Q sized bags. The bag itself feels padded with the 5 layers. The inside of the bag right behind the opening has a plastic layer to divert the airflow from being straight into it. I dont know if this helps or not but the air flow is better spread throughout the bag by not being pulled through one spot. I tested the suction comparing a new 5055 Kenmore with this 5-layered bag and couldnt tell any difference. This was only using my hand so nothing definitive, but it seemed to work equally well. With all the pet hair in this house, the bags tend to fill up quickly, so Im not a stickler on disposing of the bags when 3/4 full as recommended; they tend to be 110% full when I notice a decrease in the vacuums ability to pick up dirt when I change them. Ive only had one bag break in 30+ years with the 3.9 model, so most bags must be tough. These look like theyll do the job and capture even the smallest dust. I couldnt tell on the HEPA bags Ive purchased in the past whether they worked or not because those particles are too small to see. These bags stop everything I can see and probably then some. 5-stars

The big problem I see is the bags are longer than manufacturers original bags, so need to be tucked under several inches. Was relieved I could still buy bags for my 5055 vacuum.

The replacement bag slipped right into my Kenmore model. The manufacturing of the bag looks to be good quality, very similar to the original that came with unit.

Friend loved it and fit her canister type vacuum perfectly. The price with Amazon was less than directly through vacuum cleaner company and included about twice as many bags. Good value

I love the cloth bags because they hold in more of the dust particles better for our lungs.

The photos really say it all, these bags look and work just like the bags that were shipped with the original Kenmore vacuum that we bought just over a year ago. The dimensions are identical and the weight of the bag itself feels the same. I was delighted to find this generic alternate because buying 18 saves about $1.70 USD / bag--for a total savings of just over $30!

They fit perfectly in my Kenmore Power Vacuum and Im so impressed with the cloth construction. Cloth bags hold up well and are less likely to break or tear when filled (although thats not happened to me), and they allow good air flow. Im so glad I found these!
