The case itself I use, its well designed, I love it. Now the cartridge was a cool idea but bad execution. #1 the sticker always peels off on the top facing up, probably because the curve. Second the magnet is centered in the cartridge and allows the outside edges to cock forward or backwards. Theres nothing keeping the cartridge lined up and looks sloppy. So minus 1 star because the cartridge design and poor execution.

However I already have this awesome case and I would love to just buy the cartridge by itself, with the label and magnets, you do that and you have my sale.

Ive had it for a while now, and its honestly the best case Ive owned. The plastic feels like genuine ABS just like the original Super Nintendo. The switches for power and reset feel good and tactile. The cooling is good enough. I have passive heatsinks on my pi 3 which already runs kinda warm without a case, and when I shutdown after a long session this case only toasts it at an acceptable 62c. The front USB ports are upside though. Not a real problem, but something to note.

Fixes constant under voltage error older version of this case had. Works as intended.

This case is awesome! The plastic is great quality and it goes together very well. The magnetic cartridge for the top is a wonderful touch. I dont even have enough raspberry pi computers to put in all the Retroflag cases I bought (I have all the types they make, including the original and 3b+ version of the OG NES console) They are pretty cool to just have on display

Overall its a nice case.. holds the Raspberry Pi well, with plenty of room and includes boards that enable a safe shutdown and a reset buttons to work. My only real concern is that the case is put together using self tapping screws into the plastic posts in the top of the case, rather than using machined screws and inserts in the posts to facilitate ease of re-assembly like Retroflag did with their GPi case. What this means is that if you have to open and reclose the case you will run into a high likelihood of stripping those posts and being unable to re-assemble the case. This is exactly what happened to me. I opted to install a cooling fan into the case and the fan bearing went bad leaving me to have to disassemble the case and now theres a very real chance I cant reassemble it.. :(

Yes, this is the Retroflag case you probably already have. Theres no point in reviewing it in detail as its known that these are high quality and well designed cases for the Raspberry Pi. However, Im not quite sold on the new feature. If you have the original version, you most likely dont need this. If you *must* have the cartridge sitting on top then thats up to you.
