Worked very well on my Wii U gamepad!

The replacement for the joy stick I was having problems with did not work. The reason I bought this was to replace my left joy stick and that one is the one that did not work.

Product delivered on time! Worked like a charm right out of the package. A definite must buy for those who have analog problems. Removal and Installation was simple, just follow YouTube videos of how to open device and replace components with care.

Do they lock into position? Yes but only when not installed in the controller. The OEM sticks do as well. The controller is designed to restrict the joysticks from ever moving far enough to lock into position. Installing them instead of just complaining before trying will result in success. Horrible the sticks stay stuck on or whatever direction you move it and let it gowould show you pics but I got a new phone and lost my pics
