Ripstop Messenger Bag, Durable Water-Resistant Messenger Work Bag, Black

My son loves it. Wish it was a little thicker but it is good quality.

As a big fan of the Carhartt brand, I am completely disappointed in this messenger bag. There isnt a padded pocket for a laptop. The overall construction is only good as a bag to carry your lunch, a notebook, and not much else. I ordered a $10 sleeve for the laptop and it still feels slight. For my $60 ($70 w/ sleeve), Im looking for a bit more than sewn nylon.

Ive had this for a week....and I hate it. It is very flimsy, the laptop area is not padded, and there is no padded shoulder strap as shown in the picture. I hardly ever write negative reviews.....but this is one that Ive been really disappointed with. I always thought that Carharrt had much better quality.

This is not Carhartt material. It’s plastic. Do not like it at all. Looks and feels like something I could buy at a discount store. (This is the first review I have ever wrote, very disappointed)

The construction is very sound, the material is light-weight and repels water; plus there are several small outer pockets for lip balm, etc. The only downfall is that it is not big enough for my daughters 4 textbooks, spiral binder, dance shoes, water bottle, and pen/pencil bag, Whew! I measured it compared to last years ratty bag and discovered its an inch narrower in depth. My bad.

Pros: made of durable materials, lightweight

Padded fairly well for my MacBook Pro. Also, has plenty of storage for the equipment I need in consulting work, court appearances, etc. The right size for carry-on while flying.

claims to fit a 17in laptop in the sleeve but wont even fit a 15.6in

I expected to receive a much better bag from Carhartt. This is definitely a do not buy. There are much better products available for less money.

Total fake does not even come close to the picture which is advertised super disappointed.
