Although we followed the directions on the bottle and my fabric was cotton, the dye did not work. This was a waste of money.

I used this to dye a slipcover. Second time Ive done it. Sofa is in a condo at the beach and fades from the sunlight. I have to re-dye every year. The fixative does not work as it is described; that is, it still fades quickly. However, its a better solution than a new sofa. It looks good after redyeing for about 6 to 8 months, then the fading becomes obvious. Easy to do in a washing machine. Machine cleans up like new and is not stained.
