> 3 dayThis is the violet dye I was looking for. The photo on Amazon is incorrect. The color is violet not pink. *updated. I am including photos of a white shirt I dyed and the pantone color. It is 16-3320 violet.

Greater than one weekOnly works with a regular top loader machine, and I am not going to stir and cook my fabric for umpteen minutes. Great color, I have used it before, but just too much of a pain.

> 3 dayAlways love RIT dye. Did the job (dyeing Jenga blocks), and I’m happy with it.

> 3 daySo easy to use! Looks great as a tye-dye to make an old shirt new again, I used it to dye an old grey hoodie for my daughter & a new look for a solid white dress. This was my first time & it was easy. I did use the dye setting rinse afterwards.

> 3 dayI dye my cotton cord for crafts. The violet color was vibrant and just as shown. They have a RIT Dye site that shows many colors and which dyes to mix to achieve such colors. I find that the ease of use on RIT dye is amazing. I have tried many other more expensive dies. I find that many of RIT dyes surpass other brands. I will buy DIT Dye Violet again.

> 3 dayI used the washer method, let it sit in hot water in the soak cycle, but it completely washed out in the cold rinse even with a bunch of salt in the water! Was it me?

> 3 dayUsed to dye some Dickies overalls bright purple for a Wario costume using the washing machine method. It was super easy, thanks to their panatone system and Im happy with how the color turned out, despite Dickies using a non cotton material for the shoulder straps.
