Replacement for original remote that had broken battery terminals. Put in battheries and could use it for setup of the soundbar right away.

Was able to use it immediately after inserting batteries.

This remote looks and operates exactly like the original that came with my sound bar.

pop in the batteries and worked with my sound system. I did not figure out why my original remote failed, but it was 10 years old. This one worked right out of the box once batteries were installed. No issues at all.

I have a Sony 3.1 soundbar that Ive had for many years, and still sounds great. However the remote control started having difficulty responding to the power button. I began to have to really mash down on the power button on the remote for a couple of seconds before it would turn on or off. This replacement works perfectly, just like the original did when I first got it. Put batteries in it and youre good to go.
