Great for led projects! Diffused the leds extremely well, being only a few millimeters away. I would recommend side mounting the leds if possible. Frontward diffusion is effective, but it isnt as clean looking and requires more space between the light source and the acrylic itself. Be careful cutting though. Use a dremel or any form of cutter that has or generates heat, or else cracks are going to happen after cutting.

I set out to build a custom RGB LED shadow box for my wife for her birthday, and this product delivered exactly what I needed. If youre curious: 1. Light transmission is pretty good (see picture) with some Monster App controlled LED light strips 2. Krylon Colormaster paint and primer was used to make the boarder - and it came out perfect. Adhesives and paint both seem to bond well with the surface, surprisingly so and there is no chipping or scratching in the paint (4 coats black, 2 coats clear) 3. Once the protective membrane was removed the surfaces were smooth, shiny and scratch free Would 100% buy this again if I set out to make another shadow box, you folks make great stuff

I bought the frosted sheet. There is a 1/4 inch white flaw toward the center of the panel — under the protective film. It’s raised and was definitely formed during production. I’m using the panel to diffuse light so it’s not an issue for me but it could be a problem for someone else.

When I bought this translucent 12x12 sheet(32% trans.) I didnt know if it would work well for my purposes. WIthout getting technical, I use it as a diffuser in front of a light source for photographic purposes and it works great. I intend to buy more. With this material one can make a light box at a fraction of the usual cost.

Product was protected with plastic film. I was unsure how to cut but researched online and found a way to cut it with a hand tool. It scored cleanly and snapped in place. I used the plastic as a deadlight cover on my sailboat.
