18-04-2025I started playing Rocksmith to learn Guitar and Bass. I had years ago intended to play (I bet most people owning guitars can say that) and bought a cheaper third party cable. That cable never worked at all, this one immediately worked with no issue and was worth the saved time.

> 3 dayThere is a major delay when used in Rocksmith plus, rendering it unusable. I checked all the settings, I have a nice, powerful, up to date computer, and it always sounded like trash. I ended up using another audio converter (irig hd2), which worked but doesn’t give authentic sound within the app.

> 3 dayWorks just like a regular guitar cord just connects to my computer. Rock Smith is awesome!

> 3 dayBit expensive, but plugging this into the xbox 360 with either guitar or bass has been a joy. I managed to download thousands of songs through the internet and the experience has been amazing. Totally recommended as a music learning tool.

Greater than one weekThese cables are very flimsy and poorly constructed. Despite good care and appropriate storage when not in use, I have gone through at least 4 cables over the last 4-5 years when my sons were learning guitar on Rocksmith (PS4). Rocksmith does not recognize any other cable. Customers are locked into continuously replacing these poor quality cables.

> 3 dayStandard Rocksmith guitar cable. Works fine, no noise or crunchy static sounds when moving around. My only gripe is that there is a slight delay between playing a string and hearing the note in-game. Its pretty weird and takes some getting used to. But the cable works, which is the important thing.

> 3 dayThis cable works to get the game to recognize the sound coming from the guitar but you still will have to buy a usb to 3.5mm aux adaptor to send the sound to speakers or an amp or you will still have sound lag.
