These things ROK!!! Only a few held my riding pack securely on my 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster. A must have. I put 1500 miles on 5 day ride and camp in Eastern Washington and my loads didnt shift at all, even hitting speeds of 85 miles an hour for long distances.. My pack weighed around 30 pounds and used only a couple straps! Now only one thing....for a tent, sleeping bag and my ground trap which I put on my sissy bar rack the two 12 to 42 straps were perfect. For your bigger items such as my riding packs I used 2 18 to 60 ROK straps. I love these things

Functions beautifully! Was happy to find that it has a solid rubber core that provides just the right amount of tension and stretch for my motorcycle. They really are much nicer than any bungee cord and create a fast and (more importantly) secure strap to hold down your stuff - even on rough dirt roads. Only loses a star because one arrived with one of the Rok straps labels mis-stitched and half hanging off. Purely cosmetic and I prefer to be label-free anyways, but its there. All the structural stitches and overall quality seem top notch.

I ordered these because of the recommendation of a little woman who used them to secure her gear on the KLR650 she muscled (alone), all over the Middle East and Africa. Look up Rosie Gabrielle on YouTube. If these straps worked under those conditions, theyre good enough anywhere else! UPDATE: 10/23/2017 I just ordered more of these. There is no possibility of improving these straps. THESE ARE PERFECT for quickly and easily securing loads to my motorcycle. Use some common sense around your exhaust pipe and sharp edges and these will solve your load securement issues. SIX STARS! UPDATE: 11/07/2018 All of these straps are still going strong after using them outdoors in the sun, rain, snow and mud. No failures........
