We used these on our One World One Canvas .com (non-profit) trip to Haiti. They are sturdy (which was necessary for us). They traveled well. We painted our org. name on them with housepaint which helped identify them at the baggage claim. The paint worked well on the canvas. If we need more, we will purchase these again.

I purchased two of these, one black and one OD. It looks like they took some manufacturing shortcuts, even compared to the photos advertised for the product. The dimensions of the bag in the description are a bit misleading. The metal hardware is quite a bit more rudimentary than depicted, and the top hook is upside down, placing the majority of stress on the thin and most flimsy part of the clasp. In the pictures, the upper portion of the staps are one continuous piece of material with the center sewn in an M shaped configuration, but on the actual bags the straps are two separate pieces, making them more of an issue if the stitches fail. The base of the bag in the picture is a reinforced piece of fabric that comes up about a quarter of the bag and attatches there, but the actual bags have the base stitched in right at the bottom and they seem loose; a definite weak point, as the bottom base of this top load bag is where the weight will be supported.

My son was attending a military type school and this bag held everything he needed for the 2 week boot camp. I thought it was a little heavy but he claims it was fine. He could stuff it full and then carry it on his back when needed. It fit all the dirty laundry he brought home afterward.

this is exactly what I was looking for. I used to own a musty smelling one from a army/navy store when I was a kid, but its long gone. Using it as a second checked bag to haul camping gear on a plane. There was an earlier review stating that this bag is only 11 wide. Theres obviously some confusion here. laid flat, this item is 20 wide. This is a BIG, top loading duffle bag.

My Husband been a Hunter for 52 years , many years of carrying burlap sacks on his back . I found this canvas bag on line and thought We try it out, It seemed a little less troublesome to handle than those Burlap bags , need less to say …. This bag is the best ever . Very happy with it, easier to lift with the handles , sturdy , very durable product. He loved the bag so much we ordered a few more of these canvas strap bags for hunting season for next year . Highly recommend !! We surely give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought for a friend who mentioned they wanted /needed another bag like one they already had. He didnt know I planned to get for him. The deciding factor was next day delivery - there was a similar item less expensive, but couldnt wait weeks. I gave in sealed box. I was present when he opened & upon examination he expressed delighted - said was perfect. The quality was better than I had anticipated based on a few negative reviews I had read. Looked good, but cant comment further.

Very durable, can hold a lot of weight, everything is in one spot so I know exactly where I put it. No searching through a plethora of pockets and pouches to find what youre looking for. Its all there.

I have zero issues with this bag. Im loving it & its perfect

My soldier requested this bag as his personal bag. He loves that its top load because he can fit more into it than the bag he was issued. Hes very happy with it. His only criticism is that it would be better if it were waterproof/resistant.
