Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

Warning! Please stay away from Coral Roxio. This is their third software Ive tried recently , none of their products are properly updated (re- programmed ) to work with modern updated operating software. Old programming software that they invest very little to correct to make compatible with new operating systems and software. After installing this software, I noticed all other unrelated software on my computer running slow and hanging up. This happened too when I tried there PaintShop and Roxio Creator 9. Their software is not fully compatible with Windows updated operating systems. After a few window updates youll lose many functions of their software and they never offer patches or updates either, a sham. Its like a money grab to live off of Old programming versions, technology and name, not willing to invest to redo their software properly. Roxio used to be wonderful many many years ago, its not the same company today as it was years past. They do very little to properly upgrade their software and give you patches and updates so they work along with Windows updates and other driver updates. They never offer updates and fixes. Several of their products Ive tried are simply lemons and they should be pulled from the market.

I have been in the software and hardware industry(Silicon Valley) for 30 years and this software was obviously pushed out the door by management to meet a deadline well before it was ready. Roxio management should be embarrassed. Yes for very simple things it is simple to use and a no brainer... sort of When going to burn a DVD, on a Windows 10, Windows pops up the label popup and the Roxio popup to burn the DVD. You enter a title, then both disappear into oblivion. You have to reclick to burn the DVD, and it finally takes off. I go to add chapters and if I manually move the slider to locate chapters, I lose the sound. You have to let it run on its own and catch the chapter locations as they go by. Really??? a very basic function is broken. I dont know of any QA organization that would let something this blatant go by unless pressured by management.. Buyer definitely beware

I bought this to make a DVD from some old video files from a live performance of a band I was in back in 93. When I tried to make one it would only let me put 4 files on and leave a bunch of wasted space on the disc. I had to piece them together with a video editing program and have it without chapters. Severely bummed wish I would have bought Nero.

Have used this software before. Very easy to use on this windows 10 HP laptop.

This is great for storing your pictures on CDs you can even create a system image disk. It also lets you record from cassette ,LP and turn them into cds.

I had bought a Dell computer 15 years ago. It came with a program called Record Now that I used so much with our three sons and family. I bought a new computer just recently and asked the salesman about the Record Now program he said he never heard of it. I got onto the new computer and found the Roxy program and I have to say it was great, very easy to use being 75 years young I enjoyed it so much. I would recommend this program for ages 10 to 75 it just works!!!

Finding the download button was difficult. Finally found it & download took quite some time. Will know more once I burn a disk.

The absolute worst since Corel took over on Roxio. I have been a Roxio user since the early days of Windows. Ripping and burning CDs for myself and friends. What happened Roxio? The install at times is a failure and then I would have to uninstall and reinstall again. But the absolute worst thing about either Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 or the more expensive Creative NXT 9, you have eliminated the ability of cross fading. This was the greatest effect when Burning my final project. Having songs with no gaps in between tracks is cross fading. Because you have eliminated the ability of cross fading, I will not purchase another Roxio product again. Unless it is offered again in an upgrade
